Summary
Android 17 is a character in the Dragon Ball manga, and the anime series Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super. He is Dr. Gero's seventeenth android creation. He was originally a human by the name of Lapis, but he was kidnapped by Dr. Gero. In Dragon Ball GT, the doctors Gero and Myuu created Hell Fighter 17, the "ultimate Machine Mutant" that was made to fulfill their mutual vendetta. Created in Hell, his sole purpose was to locate the original Android 17 and fuse with him to take his true, ultimate form - Super 17.

Hell Fighter 17:
- Machine Mutant Physiology: Though created to be ultimate android (or "artificial human"), Hell Fighter 17 is in fact a Machine Mutant, a special kind of artificial being created by the Tuffles. Like the original Android 17, he is presumably an Infinite Energy Model, though it is unknown if he has and can sense regular ki. As he was created to fuse with Android 17, he has a number of special abilities that allow him to fulfill this goal, such as the power to brainwash the original Android.
Super 17:
- Android / Machine Mutant Physiology: Super 17 is a fusion of Android 17 and Hell Fighter 17, and is therefore a hybrid of the two, an extremely powerful cybernetic android (or "Artificial Human") instilled with an infinite amount of energy and immense power.
- Android Barrier: The Red Ribbon Android version of the regular energy shield, an energy-based forcefield used to block attacks. Super 17 has his own spin on the technique, the Absorption Barrier, which he uses to absorb energy attacks utilized by his opponent, converting them into his own power and greatly booting his strength. However, this leaves him vulnerable to physical attacks while he is absorbing energy.
- Electro Eclipse Bomb: Super 17's most powerful attack, performed by extending both of his arms and creating a grey energy sphere with a black center, which he then fires at his target, causing a massive explosion on impact.
- Flash Bomber: Super 17 extends both of his arms and fires several hundred energy blasts at his target.
- Hell's Storm: Super 17 removes one of his forearms to reveal a machinegun that fires a barrage of high-power bullets at high speeds.
- Ultra Sensitivity: Super 17 has highly honed senses that allow him to instantly detect even the slightest changes in his surroundings, taking note of any differences in the air, sound, and vibrations. Thanks to this, he can locate even the stealthiest opponents.

Attack Potency: Multiverse level (After training for over 10 years he grew strong enough to fight evenly with Super Saiyan Blue Goku, and he even forced him to transform into SSB while he was suppressed as well. Goku even stated that he didn't intend to go Super Saiyan Blue against 17. In the Tournament of Power he was able to casually take down several members of Universe 2 while heavily restricting his power. When pushing himself to full power he was able to ram through Anilaza's massive energy ball which was holding back serious attacks from the likes of Golden Frieza, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, Potential Unleashed Gohan, and Super Saiyan Blue Goku. He was later able to hold his own against Base Toppo and was confident in his ability to find a way to defeat his God of Destruction form, however the latter is likely due to his calm demeanor. However, #17 was able to take blows from Jiren and even clash with him better than even Super Saiyan Blue Evolution Vegeta. At this point, Jiren was showing more of his true power.
