Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

That's me in there. The real me. There I am. But it's not really real, is it? It's all just made up and pretend like my family and my life and everything else. Why couldn't you just let me make believe!?
~ Baby Doll's breakdown in front of Batman

Summary[]

Mary Louise Dahl was an actress born with Systemic Hypoplasia, a condition that stopped her from physically aging past the age of five. This condition allowed her to enjoy a long stint as "Baby Doll" on the show "Love That Baby," beloved by the American public. However, when she was upstaged by a new cast member, she abandoned the show - but her acting simply wasn't good enough to land her any roles. The lack of work and anguish caused her fragile mind to snap, and she became the vengeful super-villain Baby Doll, clashing with Batman and Robin.

Powers and Stats[]

Tier: 10-C physically, 9-A, possibly 8-C to 7-B with Preparation and Gadgets

Name: Mary Louise Dahl, known as Baby-Doll

Origin: The DC Animated Universe

Gender: Female

Age: Early Thirties (She has a condition that makes her appear to be a child despite her age)

Classification: Human

Powers and Abilities:

With preparation/her arsenal, she can utilize:

Attack Potency: Below Average Human Level physically (Has physically never advanced past early childhood), Small Building Level, possibly Building Level to City Level with Preparation (Her gun is implied to be able to pierce Batman, and her explosives could send Batman flying back. Triggered a nuclear plant malfunction that would have destroyed Gotham)

Speed: At least Average Human, possibly far higher reactions and combat speed (Seems to react to a lunge from Batman, albeit Batman's body was confined in a small tunnel at the time), Subsonic attack speed with her Taser (Taser tongs generally fire at a rate of about 180 feet per second), and Supersonic attack speed with her Gun (Should have a similar muzzle velocity to most IRL handguns)

Lifting Strength: Below Average Human

Striking Strength: Below Average Human Class

Durability: At least Human Level (Wasn't knocked out by being kicked across a room - Batgirl was almost definitely holding back here, however)

Stamina: Athletic (Didn't seem at all fatigued after spending minutes desperately running from Batman)

Range: Standard Melee Range physically, Several Meters with her Explosive Jacks, Taser Gun, and Smoke-Emitting Ball (Their area of effect seems to be about this wide, judging from their use), Tens of Meters with her Gun (Her gun presumably has a similar effective range to that of a standard 9mm pistol) and her prepared bomb (Her bomb's explosion seemingly blew up her entire lair), and up to Tens of Kilometers with sufficient preparation (The nuclear meltdown she was going to cause at the end of Love is a Croc would have destroyed Gotham City)

Intelligence: Gifted (Seemingly built bombs, created criminal plans, and caused a nuclear plant to approach critical mass)

Standard Equipment:

  • Smoke Ball: A gadget that appears to be a normal bouncing ball, but in reality it emits sleeping gas.
  • Optional Equipment:
  • Explosive Jacks: In keeping with the smoke ball, this gadget also seems to be a normal children's toy, but in reality the jacks are handheld explosives powerful enough to send Batman flying back.
  • Handgun: Self-explanatory as to its function. She used this in her debut episode to keep Batman at a distance - and it's hidden inside a doll.
  • Taser Gun: A large, plastic-looking weapon that fires electrified suction cups.
  • Planted Explosive: A bomb that Mary seemingly built, and subsequently planted in her lair - it seems to detonate in response to any physical disturbance, and created an explosion big enough to completely wipe out her lair and any evidence of her and Croc's criminal dealings there.

Standard Tactics: Due to her diminutive size (and thus lack of power), she never participates in direct combat, instead using her gun or explosives to attack from a distance and running away if a foe gets too close - as seen when she ran from Batman during her debut episode.

Weaknesses: Has the body of a very young child, and possesses Normal Human Weaknesses.
