Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Summary[]

Bayonetta is a stylish hack n' slash game series created by Hideki Kamiya, the creator of other titles such as Devil May Cry, Okami, and Viewtiful Joe at the studio he co-founded, PlatinumGames. Initially made for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U published and funded by solely SEGA of the cult classic original title, the series was then made as a Nintendo exclusive as the series' other sequels (Bayonetta 2 and Bayonetta 3) were then published and funded by Nintendo, including the prequel, Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon. The series has a quick-pace combat system, allowing little to no mistakes as the game stresses seamless combos while perfectly dodging attacks as you play Bayonetta throughout the series.

The series emphasizes fantastical themes, mixing religious and mythological themes with a flair that seems to be only present with Bayonetta's confidence as well as her allies' badassery that compliments the over-the-top protagonist throughout the series!

NOTE: Bayonetta (1 and 2, the main universe) and Arch-Eve Origin (Bayonetta 3) are separate entities, with Arch-Eve Origin being heavily implied to be the Cereza we met back in Bayonetta 1. When scaling Bayonetta, please do remember that one should clarify who is Bayonetta 1/2 and who is Arch-Eve Origin (Bayonetta 3).

Power of the Verse[]

Bayonetta has one of the most powerful game universes there are, with the Angels of Paradiso, Demons of Inferno, and the Homunculi having their fodder and shock troops being scaled at Unknown, to Wall and Street level+, with Second Sphere angels being Multi-City Block and First Sphere angels being Planet potentially Large Planet, scaling to Gracious and Glorious who can destroy the Earth with just a fracture of their power. The top tiers of the verse sit comfortably at Low Complex Multiversal (6D) scaling through the World of Chaos (the Human Realm), a multi-layered structure having an infinite multiverse with a base of 4D with Ginnungagap encompassing it, being also its bridge, space, and gap between establishing itself as 5D, with the sixth-dimensional layer being Nilfheim describing as it than a deeper layer than Ginnungagap, and is one of the dimensional hierarchy. The verse has the potential to be High Complex Multiversal (10D) by this scan from Bayonetta 2 called 'Trademark' where each overlapping diamonds is representing a matrix of time and space that forms the World of Chaos. When counting all overlapping diamonds, it's 10, representing 10D. Bayonetta and a few top tiers scale directly to Singularity who became the World of Chaos, scaling him to Low Complex Multiversal to High Complex Multiversal. The verse can also be upgraded to a likely of Outerverse but this is only exclusive to Jubileus, being the Divine Will. As the Divine Will, as an independent idea that doesn't attach itself to the Trinity of Realities and Purgatorio. The Divine Will cannot be destroyed or manipulated, hence why Jubileus can always be resurrected in many different ways and locations. The Divine Will is a higher ontological reality, a state of being that is not merely a force or concept but an existence that defines all lesser systems. Since Divine Will predates even the concept of faith—and faith is essential to the creation and expansion of the Trinity—her existence is a form of primordial will that surpasses all these lower concepts. In a way, she is the original concept of will itself, not contingent on any system, physical space, or conceptual framework that would limit her. She can always return both physicality and soul as long as the essence of Divine Will is erased, which no being in the Trinity of Realities can alter nor reach.

In terms of speed, the verse starts to scale from Unknown to Massively Hypersonic+ as angels like Fearless using lightning in combat to at least FTL to FTL+ as Affinities can catch up to Bayonetta and Jeanne through a moment where their Witch Time was stacked. Top tiers start with Infinite speed, as the angel Irenic can cross Paradiso, an infinite realm, within a day to Inaccessible as Bayonetta can move in Muspelheim where it exists outside linear time, and up to Immeasurable as Aesir can attack and travel through spacetime and characters being able to travel through time via Muspelheim.
