In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.
Brawlers are the classification for a wide variety of organic and inorganic super-beings who had been powered by making close contact with a special type of purple Gem, which has the power to grant ordinary people or things a variety of universal abilities all Brawlers have. Brawlers have established abilities in addition to their own unique powers, which often is based on the personality or talent of the being affected by the Gem. They all fight for gems, stealing safes, or simply fight as a means to express friendship.
Types of Skills[]
Standard[]
All Brawlers have 5 different types of abilities (besides their main attack), with different functionalities.
Gadgets:Gadgets are activatable abilities that have a variety of effects. Each Brawler has two different Gadgets specific to themselves, and Gadgets have a cooldown to them, but can be used infinitely in a match unlike before. Only one Gadget can be equipped by a Brawler at a time.
Star Powers:Star Powers are passive abilities that often increase statistics or increase the utility of pre-existing abilities of Brawlers or even introduce new passive abilities. Every Brawler has two Star Powers unique to themselves. Only one Star Power can be equipped by a Brawler at a time.
Gears:Gears are passive abilities that are often times only statistic amplifications that last for a long time. There are 6 Super Rare Gears, which every Brawler has access to. That's the Speed Gear, which makes Brawlers move faster by 15% when moving in bushes, the Damage Gear that boosts a Brawler's damage by 15% when they are under half their health, the Health Gear that makes Brawlers heal 50% more each second, the Vision Gear that allow Brawlers to see enemies hiding in bushes for two seconds after hitting them, the Shield Gear that grants a Brawler a shield that blocks some damage and can regenerate, and the Gadget Cooldown Gear, which reduces the cooldown of their Gadget by 15%. There are Epic Gears that are stronger Gears that can be equipped by a select group of Brawlers each, and Mythic Gears that are all each exclusive to one single Brawler. Two gears can be equipped at a time.
Hypercharges:Hypercharges are a chargeable ability similar to Supers, however canonically, Brawlers only have to train hard enough before they can harness the power of their Hypercharges. Hypercharge always creates a purple aura of flames around a Brawler, makes them glow purple with glowing eyes, and electricity pulsing around their body. Hypercharges often come with a boost to a Brawler's speed, damage, and grants them a shield, different from the Shield Gear, since the Hypercharge's shield reduces the amount of damage the Brawler takes when hit by a certain percentage. Hypercharges also provide a special boost to a Brawler's other stat or increases the utility of their abilities depending on the Brawler. Hypercharges regularly grant a 15% or 20% boost to speed, damage and a shield. All Brawlers are meant to canonically have a Hypercharge.
Non-Standard[]
During special events, Brawlers gain access to temporary limited-time abilities they can equip.
Mutations:Mutations are passive abilities only certain Brawlers have that were obtained through Monster Eggs as drops. Each Mutation is unique to each Brawler. When equipped, the Brawler with the mutation will have a green emission from them, and either some part of their abilities becomes massively amplified, or given a brand new passive ability that is incredibly powerful.
SpongeBob Power-Ups:SpongeBob Power-Ups are a type of item that grants Brawlers one of 7 types of abilities, with each type of ability being based on the Brawler's Class. These abilities grant brand new passive abilities for Brawlers that are decently powerful, and meant to compliment their playstyle. Each ability is able to be upgrade 2 times outside of battle, but Brawlers all should be capable of having Max Level 3 Power-Ups with their max abilities. Tanks get the Krabby Patty, Assassins get the Spatula, Supports get the Kelp Soda, Controllers get the Bubble, Damage Dealers get the Chum, Marksmen get the Clarinet, and Artilleries get the Pineapple.
Codex of Doom:The Codex of Doom is a book with 18 different cards that when equipped, will grant a brand new different passive ability that's tied to either angelic energy, or demonic energy. A lot of Codex of Doom abilities rely on other characters also being angelic or demonic to amplify their effects.
Powers and Abilities[]
Via Standard Skills[]
All Brawlers have select abilities and even skills they have due to their physiology being affected by purple Gems.
EnergyAbsorption: Whenever a Brawler attacks an enemy, they become energized, with their Super becoming charged more, as well as their Hypercharge as well. Even if Brawlers can perform Supers and use Hypercharges without needing to charge them in official media, charging them should be akin to feeling far more energized.
Weapon Mastery: Every Brawler who utilizes weapons suddenly became incredibly talented and skilled at using what they use as weapons, often times with incredibly unordinary objects being used as weapons, like balloons, snowballs or even giant teeth from a cannon.
Damage Boost: Their Damage Gear makes them deal 15% more damage when using any ability, if the Brawler ever so happens to ever be below 50% their full health.
Forcefield Creation: With the Shield Gear, Brawlers recieve a shield that they start off with in a fight that blocks a decent amount of damage before breaking, in which case the damage dealt to the Brawler will reduce their health instead of damaging their shield. If a Brawler is at full health, they will begin regenerating their shield back if they don't have it, but if under below full health, the shield will not be able to regenerate. The Shield Gear stacks with damage-reduction abilities like forcefield shields like Rosa's Super, simple damage reduction like Gray's Star Power, or bubble shields like Edgar's Gadget.
Regeneration:Low-High. Brawlers are able to come back and stay alive even when liquified. Brawlers will heal from damage even if at very low health. The passive healing is automatic and only works if a Brawler doesn't attack/gets hurt.
Invulnerability: Brawlers will have an immunity shield to protect them from any damage or status effects of any kind for a short duration when respawning. The immunity also makes them immune to even being moved in any way.
