Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Summary[]

Billy Batson, an orphan boy with a pure heart, was granted immense powers by the wizard Shazam, and became “Captain Marvel,” crusader for Justice, fighting alongside Mary Marvel, Freddy Freeman, Tawny, et cetera.

NOTE: This series seems to reference “Shazam!: The Monster Society of Evil” as happening prior to this book - this would lead you to believe that this CM is simply Post-Crisis CM, but a simple read-through would make it clear that the events of this book are not part of Post-Crisis continuity. All we can realistically take from those references is that in this series’ continuity, events that are superficially similar to “Monster Society of Evil” took place in the past.

Powers and Stats[]

Key: Base State | Confident | Shazam's Successor

Tier: At least High 7-A, possibly Low 2-C | At least High 7-A, more than likely Low 2-C, higher with Electrified Punches | At least High 7-A, more than likely Low 2-C

Name: Billy Batson, known to the public as "Captain Marvel" in his transformed state

Origin: Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam!

Gender: Male

Age: 10 years old

Classification: Human, Champion of the Wizard Shazam, De Facto Leader of the Marvel Family

Powers and Abilities:

After realizing the full extent of his power, he wields all his prior abilities as well as:

After receiving all of Shazam's powers, he wields all his prior abilities as well as:

Attack Potency: At least Large Mountain Level (1.19 Gigatons - Consistently scales to characters who can harm him, as he could fight King Kull (sending him flying with a punch and twice ragdolling him with tackles) who could harm him and rip apart the hand of Mr. Atom Mark II, who should be at least equal to his predecessor, the first Mr. Atom - a robot so powerful that his punch made Cap see stars. Mr Mind's exact copy of his body could harm him, tackle him hard enough to make a massive crater, and push a building too quickly for Captain Marvel to get out of the way. Considers himself capable of moving a mountain out of the way quickly enough to avoid a speeding train. Tore apart the hand of Mr. Atom Mark II (and via taking hits from him, should scale to him) - the previous model of Mr. Atom could damage buildings with its punches and punch Captain Marvel so hard it created a huge crater and seems to have ruptured a water main. The aforementioned exact duplicate of him could punch him through a building, slam him into a dock with enough force to destroy it, and toss a battleship. Destroyed several alien spaceships by merely flying through them. Ripped apart a section of Sivana's ship with a punch. Is the physical equal of Black Adam, who can create this explosion just by jumping, throw him through a stone wall, slam him through a large stone arch, destroy the support beams of a museum, and destroy sections of pyramids in his battle with Captain Marvel. Freddy Freeman, someone who only wields a portion of Black Adam’s might, caused this explosion when attacking Captain Marvel. Tackled Black Adam through a stone wall and into a stone pillar, smashing it. Smacked a wrecking ball around), possibly Universe Level+ (At some point in the past, struck Mr. Mind's monsters so hard that his blow "ripped a big, giant hole in time and space", “ripped open time and space”, and "tore a hole in the fabric of our realm and reality." Thought of by Black Adam as wielding unlimited power and could combat the Seven Deadly Sins, which when absorbed give their wielder “unlimited power”) | At least Large Mountain Level, more than likely Universe Level+ (Has the confidence to use his powers more effectively, thus making him much more powerful. Tore apart Mr. Atom Mark III, who should outscale his predecessors. Sent King Kull flying with a kick. Punched the Vampire Burgular through a building), higher with Electrified Punches (Was able to send an amped Black Adam flying with an electrified strike - in contrast, his non-electrified punches only made this amped Adam take a step back, at most) | At least Large Mountain Level, more than likely Universe Level+ (Wields all the magic power of the Wizard at this point, and knocked the aforementioned amped Black Adam out in a single punch)

Speed: At least Sub-Relativistic+ flight and combat speed normally (0.02c - Has combat speed exceeding his flight speed, as he is equal in combat speed to characters such as a copy of Captain Marvel and Black Adam, who can intercept Mary Marvel mid-flight with their attacks: Mary Marvel being demonstrated to be faster in flight than Billy - as well as a casual lightning timer. Circled the planet almost instantly via flight while fighting Black Adam. Flew to Egypt almost instantly, both when fighting Black Adam and when fighting the Mad Mummy. Caused a sonic boom while tackling King Kull. Dodged a sound wave fired from the Horn of Horrors. As fast as Black Adam, who blitzed a police officer), likely Immeasurable (He and Mary Marvel frequently fly between Earth and the Rock of Eternity, which is described as an interdimensional trip, and it's called "just like" time-traveling a few seconds into the future via sheer speed) | Immeasurable (Toward the end of the story, when Billy gains the confidence to use his powers to their maximum effectiveness, he uses the speed of Mercury to its fullest extent and gains the speed to time-travel a few seconds into the future) | Immeasurable (Should be at least as fast as his previous state, and seemingly blitzed an amped Black Adam)

Lifting Strength: Class T (Considers himself theoretically capable of lifting and moving a mountain, which weigh at least this much. Casually lifted a pyramid and flew while carrying it. His exact duplicate helped push over a building, tossed a battleship at him and swung a huge metal fixture as a weapon. Held back a runaway train. Is physically evenly matched with Black Adam, who can easily lift and throw cars, casually crumple metal structures, rip a stone wall apart as if it were tissue paper, swing a large stone statue as a weapon, and lift a large wooden boat. A portion of Black Adam’s powers could also empower Freddy Freeman to the point that he could “lift cars without a second thought” and “throw them the length of an entire desert” casually. Held up two of the support cables of a large bridge. Pushed a massive pile of metal off of him. Ripped Mr. Atom Mark II's hand in two. Tore a metal door in an alien spaceship off its hinges with ease, crumpling it in the process. Can casually burst out of chains. Swung a basketball hoop like a bat. Held back super-pressurized water. Alongside Mary Marvel, tore Sivana's ship in two. Crushed a gun in his hand) | At least Class T (At least as strong as his prior form, considering he’s now using his powers to their fullest capacity. Swung Mr. Atom Mark III’s leg like a bat and tore his head off. Splintered a guitar in his grip) | At least Class T (Should be just as strong as his prior forms if not stronger, though admittedly the extent to which Shazam’s powers amplify his physicals is vague)

Striking Strength: At least Large Mountain Class, possibly Universe Class+ | At least Large Mountain Class, more than likely Universe Class+, higher with Electrified Punches | At least Large Mountain Class, more than likely Universe Class+

Durability: At least Large Mountain Level in all three keys (1.19 Gigatons - Shouldn’t be any less durable in his more powerful iterations. Kept fighting after taking several blows from Mr. Mind's copy of him, which could exert this much energy. Withstood Mr. Atom's "atomic power source" exploding without a scratch. Withstood being punched through a wall, slammed into a newsvan with enough force to crumple it, slammed through several wooden support boards, and having a cinderblock smashed apart against his skull, all by King Kull. Took several attacks from Mr. Atom Mark II, who could destroy a large building just by standing up and send Captain Marvel smashing through a wall. Kept fighting after being punched through a building and smashed across a dock with enough force to smash it apart by his evil clone. Stayed in the fight against Black Adam despite Adam slamming him into parts of pyramids with enough force to destroy them. Was only slightly disoriented after part of a building fell on him. Withstood Freddy Freeman punching him through a wall. Being slammed into a metal wall with enough force to warp it didn't even give him slight pause), possibly Universe Level+ (Scaling to his AP as per Newton’s Third Law)

Stamina: Superhuman in all three keys (Wields the stamina of Atlas. Battled the Vampire Burgular for “hours”)

Range: Standard Melee Range physically, and Several Meters with Super Breath (Shown to stretch a few meters whilst he fought King Kull)

Standard Equipment: None Notable

Intelligence: At least Genius, more than likely Extraordinary Genius (Possesses the wisdom of Solomon, which he has used on innumerable occasions: in example, he has exactly calculated the timing of atoms and electrons in a building in order to use his speed to phase through it, tricked Mr. Mind into trapping himself by attempting to phase into a reflective surface, developed a plan to use the Rock of Eternity shuttle to escape Black Adam, tricked King Kull into becoming susceptible to his own transmutation gun, and has tricked Selfishness into turning on Black Adam in just a few sentences), with his second and third keys boasting higher intelligence (Now that he has the confidence to use his powers more effectively, it stands to reason he can use more of the wisdom of Solomon than before. Figured out how to combine the powers of Mercury and Zeus to hit Black Adam with a high-speed electrified punch. Bided his time in order to get the opportunity to use the Arson Fiend’s powers against King Kull, taking out both villains in a fiery explosion)

Standard Tactics: If his foe is clearly weaker than himself, he’ll attempt to incapacitate as nonviolently as possible. But if given reason to believe his foe is super-strong, he’ll fly at them and attack with near-full strength to take them out as quickly as possible.

Weaknesses: Cannot transform unless he says “Shazam.” For most of the series (prior to his second and third keys), lacked the confidence to use his powers to their fullest extent.
