Summary[]
Carnotaurus, also known as Carnotaurs ("Meat-eating bull"), were a genus of abelisaurid carnivorous dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous period, 72-69.9 million years ago in South America.
They appear as the main antagonists of Disney's 2000 CGI film Dinosaur, greatly oversized compared to their real life counterparts and comparable or bigger than a T. rex. Disney parks such as Disney's Animal Kingdom state that these are a different, larger species known by the scientific name of "Carnotaurus robustus floridaensis".

In combat, they use their deadly horns to gore others and are smart enough to pin down their opponent or prey with a foot and use their tails to smack others away. The two in the movie might be a mated pair or perhaps siblings, as they have a very strong bond, and the surviving one shows a powerful grudge against Aladar, trying to drag him over a cliff, possibly to avenge the death of his companion, even at the cost of its own life)
