Summary[]

Chris is a member of the rock band CYS which consists of him and his friends, Yashiro and Shermie who all formed the Team New Face and joined the King of Fighters tournament after beating up Team American Sports in order to get revenge on Iori for stealing their venue.

During the tournament, Chris and his allies would use their latent Orochi powers and with them, their memories of being members of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi, in order to power up and fight against Team Sacred Treasures. They would lose and Orochi almost failed to make its way back out of its seal, however, Yashiro killed Chris and Shermie before killing himself, giving Orochi all of their powers and possessing Chris' body to take form once again.

After their deaths, all three of them would have their souls absorbed into Verse and would be released and resurrected once Verse was defeated. Chris and his two friends would join the next King of Fighters tournament in order to figure out what resurrected them and to see if they could use its powers to bring back Orochi again.
