Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Superman, notable for having various versions of himself

Overview[]

Composite pages are significantly different from regular pages, while a specific profile may be named based on using one verse like this Character (Canon/Fanon, Verse)/User, they could also be named Character (Canon, Composite)/User. As a general example, think Goku; if someone were to write a Goku profile, specifically on his Dragon Ball Super iteration, the profile would ideally be named Goku (Canon, Dragon Ball Super)/User.

On the other hand, a composite page on Goku would be named Goku (Canon, Composite)/User. Because unlike singular iterations of a character, a composite character is every version of a character in one page.

It should be noted that what composite includes in terms of which works are considered is up to the maker of the page, and any ideas proposed here are just as valid, just the same as how SBAs work. For instance, one composite page may use versions of the character that are distinctly different, so for Superman they may use Earth 16 Superman, while another page may only use Golden age up through Rebirth. Both are equally valid.

Differences[]

Singular Verses[]

The way a page is written is based on the version of the character from the verse. For example, Pre-Crisis Superman and Post-Crisis Superman are two different versions of the same character, therefore pages for them are written differently, only using feats from the respective versions. So for an example, Pre-Crisis Superman flying past infinity would not be used as a feat for Post-Crisis Superman because they're not the same character.

Composite Pages[]

Composite pages are written in the total opposite way, taking into account all feats across all versions of a character, as a composite is simply all versions of the character treated as one character. So back to the Superman example, the earlier mentioned feat could be used in a composite page. If you wanted to write a profile taking into account the main Dragon Ball canon yet also include Heroes, the games, etc. it would be a composite page. Composite pages tend to use the highest available feats from every version of a character, and also use every power and ability the character uses. So a composite page typically has much higher end feats and far more powers and abilities than a single verse page.
