Summary[]
Donkey Kong is a recurring character within the Mario series, as well as the star of his own spin-off series. He is the chosen protector and future king of DK Island, who has regularly found himself clashing with the Kremlings and their ruler, King K. Rool. The original Donkey Kong, his grandfather, was said to do battle with Mario's father/relative, Jumpan, thereby sparking a rivalry between him and the current Donkey Kong.

Regularly contends with and is physically comparable if not superior to the likes of Yoshi and Mario, the latter of which he has fought against multiple times. Can knock back Bowser, who survived falling into the core of a large star and was unaffected by a black hole sucking in large planetoids until he was defeated.), possibly Multi-Solar System level (Mario and Bowser allegedly survived the supermassive blackhole that was going to destroy the galaxy, and being comparable to these two would be enough for Donkey Kong to scale, however it's unclear if Mario and Bowser actually survived it or were protected/regenerated afterwards. Comparable if not superior to Rabbid Peach, who contributed to the defeat of the Megabug, which was merging together two universes, though the final blow was dealt with a combined attack of eight individuals.)

Intelligence: At most Average (Is usually portrayed as unintelligent, with his name literally meaning "Stupid Ape". It is theorized the reason he was able to resist the Tiki Tak Tribe's mind control was simply due to being too stupid for it to work on him.)
