Summary[]
Elder Centipede is a giant centipede-like mysterious being, and an executive of the Monster Association. With a disaster level of Dragon, he is the third centipede monster to be introduced following the deaths of Junior and Senior Centipede. His most notable characteristic is his immense size. While little is known about his origins, he holds a grudge against Blast, the top S-Class hero, who had gravely injured him in their battle two years ago. The giant insect monster would re-emerge larger than ever before during the Monster Association Raid, rampaging through S-City, his defeat at the hands of Blast never forgotten.
Powers and Stats[]
Tier: Unknown, likely at least 2-C | 5-C
Key: VS Blast | Monster Association
Disaster Level: Dragon
Name: Giant Insect Monster: Elder Centipede
Origin: One-Punch Man
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Classification: Insect Monster, Monster Association Cadre
Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Large Size (Type 3), Size Manipulation, Reactive Evolution, Immortality (Type 3) & Regeneration (Mid; Recovered from the Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist, which shattered his carapace and should have reduced him to dust, by molting. This made him bigger than before. Healed having his insides melted by Genos' Super Spiral Incineration Cannon. Survived being gravely injured by Blast), Burrowing (Tends to travel underground), Acid Manipulation (Could have melted Genos in a matter of seconds with his digestive fluid), likely Blessed (VS Blast), Resistance to Emotional Manipulation (Becoming a monster effectively makes someone a being who has abandoned what makes you human and are apart from the world, able to kill without hesitation, empathy, or subconscious restrictions on their actions, their morals having vanished, replaced with the urge for violence welling up inside them)
Attack Potency: Unknown, likely at least Low Multiverse level (Presumably hurt Blast during their battle 2 years ago, as Blast is shown bleeding while fighting him and is even further damaged after the fight. God's presence explains why Elder Centipede was apparently this strong; he was probably being amped by God in that fight in a similar way to Psykos, which would make more sense than him simply being that strong. The latter case would present scaling issues to Awakened Garou and Empty Void) | Moon level (Easily swatted a pumped up Metal Bat away. Cut Genos in half with his pincers. Forced Bang and Bomb to use the Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist against him, then knocked them away. After he molted, Bang intended to use Awakening Breath, his full power, for the "last time in his life" against Elder Centipede. As a cadre, he should have been on a completely different league to early Half-Monster Garou and stronger than Bug God)
Speed: Unknown, likely Immeasurable (As with strength, his speed was probably also amped, otherwise there would be scaling issues with faster monsters like Garou and Platinum Sperm what with the timers attached to their speed feats. Fast enough to presumably land hits on Blast years after his first fight with Empty Void) | FTL (Intercepted Genos' Spiral Incineration Cannon, and can land hits on him and Metal Bat, even launching the latter at speeds Garou couldn't react to)
Lifting Strength: Unknown | Class G (Elder Centipede weighs this much. Can restrain Genos, forcing him to rip his own leg off to escape his bite), higher Post-Molt (Grew bigger than before)
Striking Strength: Unknown, likely at least Low Multiversal | Moon Class
Durability: Unknown, likely at least Low Multiverse level (He was seemingly fine deep into his fight with Blast, and survived later being injured by him), lower for his head | Moon level (Completely undamaged by Metal Bat's attacks and Genos' Spiral Incineration Cannon. Tanked missiles from Metal Knight after he had salvaged parts from the Dark Matter ship to improve his weaponry), at least Multi-Continent level for his head (Although it's his weak point, it still tanked Metal Bat's pumped up Dragon Pummelin')
Stamina: Superhuman (Never showed any signs of tiring while operating and fighting multiple people for extensive periods of time. Even when gravely injured, Elder Centipede can survive, has shown the ability to regenerate from lethal damage to keep fighting)
Range: Kilometers
Standard Equipment: None
Intelligence: Average
Weaknesses: As noted by Metal Bat, Elder Centipede's head is his weak point, less durable than the rest of his body.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Giant Centipede Tidal Wave: Elder Centipede twists and swirls its body around while charging into its surroundings, causing massive destruction. It used this to try and brush Metal Bat off its carapace.
