Summary[]
Eren Yeager (エレン・イェーガー Eren Yēgā) is a former member of the Survey Corps. He is the main protagonist of Attack on Titan. He lived in Shiganshina District with his parents and adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman until the fall of Wall Maria, where he impotently witnessed his mother being eaten by a Titan. This event would lead to Eren's intense hatred towards the Titans as he swore to wipe all of them off the face of the Earth. Soon afterward, his father, Grisha Yeager, found him and gave him the key to his basement, instructing Eren to find it at all costs and retake Wall Maria. He then injected Eren with a Titan serum. In the year 847, Eren, Mikasa, and his best friend Armin Arlert joined the 104th Training Corps. The three graduated with Eren ranking 5th best, and they joined the Survey Corps following the battle of Trost District. After finding the basement and unlocking his father's memories, Eren learned about the truth of what the Titans are, as well as the history of Eldia and Marley. Eren then vowed to free his home from their true enemy: the rest of humanity that lives across the ocean. Eren currently possesses the power of three Titans. From his father, Eren inherited the Attack and Founding Titans. After eating the younger sister of Willy Tybur during the Raid on Liberio, he gained the War Hammer Titan as well.

- Attack Titan
- Memory Inheritance: Like all of the Nine Titans, Eren can inherit the memories of the Attack Titan's previous users. However, the Attack Titan's most unique ability is to peer into not only the past but also the future memories of its inheritors. Eren has been able to experience his father's memories multiple times, once even reliving his father's entire memories of Marley, almost like it was a dream. As shown in Paths, Eren can also reveal his own memories to his predecessors, giving them insight for events that are to come. He gives memories of the future to his father Grisha, selecting the ones that would suit his purpose, convincing him to eventually destroy the Reiss family. It's heavily implied he's given Kruger memories of Armin and Mikasa. When he came into contact with Historia, he gained all his future memories and knowledge of the events to come.
- Regeneration: Like all Titan Shifters, Eren can regenerate his injuries at an exceeding fast rate, in both his human and Titan forms. He has demonstrated feats like healing an entire lost hand in mere seconds to an entire arm in minutes. In the Titan forest after losing to Reiner and Bertholdt, he slowly regenerated both of his lost arms. During the Marley arc, he delays the regeneration to his intentionally severed left leg so as to keep his disguise as an injured solider.
- Founding Titan
- Titan Control: During the Clash of the Titans arc, Eren unknowingly uses it when coming into contact with Dina Fritz's Pure Titan, subconsciously commanding all the Titans to destroy her. He later demonstrates this ability to a greater extent in the War for Paradis arc after convincing Ymir to have her lend him her power, where he commands all the Wall Titans to trample the entire world.
- Telepathy: Eren uses this to communicate with every Subject of Ymir, announcing his plan to destroy the world.
- Anatomical Manipulation: Eren uses the ability to re-attach his severed head to his body. Additionally, the Founding Titan is known to have a height of around 13m. This size restriction, however is not definite as it is with the other eight members of the Nine Titans as can be seen when Eren is able to transform into a Titan body many magnitudes of size larger than even the Wall Titans after receiving full use of the Founding Titan's power from Ymir Fritz.
- War Hammer Titan
- Structural Hardening: Through the use of the War Hammer's abilities, Eren creates spikes on his Titan body along with generating numerous amounts of spikes on the ground to impale Reiner and Galliard.

- Hardening: Through Rod Reiss's armor serum, Eren gains the ability to harden his skin into a crystal-like material. He uses this ability in different ways, from creating structures from his body to seal up large gates to applying hardening to a single point in his fists to make his attacks more lethal.
