Evan Afton (Theorized), known as The Bite Victim/BV or The Crying Child/CC, is the main protagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's 4's end-of-night minigames. He is the victim of the bite of '83. He is the son of William Afton, and sibling of Elizabeth Afton and Micheal Afton.
The Crying Child is a timid child with a seemingly paralyzing fear or phobia of many things, including animatronics. He undergoes bullying and teasing by his Older Brother who is always seen wearing a Foxy mask. On the day of his birthday party at Fredbear's Family Diner, the Older Brother and his friends jokingly lift the Crying Child towards the performing Fredbear animatronic while he begs them not to. The Fredbear animatronic, running through its programmed routine, bites down on Crying Child's head, causing him to be hospitalized.
