Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

How foolish, child of man. I've revealed this much of my story and you still haven't understood...
~ Featherine Augustus Aurora

Summary[]

Featherine Augustus Aurora is the supreme being of When They Cry, and the 07th Expansion series in general. She is the witch form of Tohya/Ikuko Hachijo, and the Witch of Theatergoing, Drama, & Spectating, an Endless Witch. She is so powerful that even Bernkastel is scared of her to a degree. She sometimes is bored of living for too long so she repeatedly lives and dies.

She has mastered several famous games in the past, though she has long forgotten them and the medallion on her chest is the only solemn reminder of this long forgotten past. She possesses a crescent-shaped device that floats around her head, serving as a memory aid that maintains traits such as her name, appearance, and personality.

Powers and Stats[]

Tier: 10-B | High 1-A, possibly higher | 1-S

Name: Featherine Augustus Aurora, "Auaurora", Lady Aurora, "Tohya Hachijo", Ikuko Hachijo

Origin: Umineko no Naku Koro ni

Gender: Female

Age: Unknown, implied to be middle-aged | At least 1,000+ (Far older than every other character shown in the story). Inapplicable due to her existing outside of the bounds of time

Classification: Human, writer | Legendary Great Witch | Creator

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Nigh-Omniscience, Non-Corporeal, Abstract Existence (Witches are purely conceptual entities), Magic, Power Bestowal (Can grand power to other Witches or lesser beings), Reality Warping, Acausality (Type 5), Time Manipulation, Time Stop, Spatial Manipulation, Cosmic Awareness, Causality Manipulation, Plot Manipulation, Fate Manipulation, Probability Manipulation (Kakeras are like books and works of fiction to beings of the Higher Worlds, and by using them to create worlds, the world's events and fate are set in stone. Can manipulate the fate, plots, possibilities and space-time of Kakera. Featherine's plot manipulation is the most notable of any Witch, as she physically stops time to write Lambdadelta's death), Void Manipulation, Conceptual Manipulation (Type 1), Quantum Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, and Soul Manipulation (Can manipulate the voids of the nothingness of Kakera, as well as its conceptual, mental and spiritual realms. Lives in the Higher World, were the concepts of fate and possibilities are visualized in the form of Kakera, which she can manipulate at will), Law Manipulation (Beings of Higher Worlds can create specific rules within the gameboard, such as Beatrice making the Anti Magic Toxin rule), Shapeshifting, Adaptation and Evolution (All of the higher layers exist on the background of the Sea of Nothingness, and the beings of the higher layers may exist directly within this sea, and they adapt to the pressure due to mental and spiritual evolution), Avatar Creation, Self-Sustenance (1, 2, and 3), Non-Physical Interaction, Large Size (Type 11), Immortality (1, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9), Regeneration (High-Godly. Even if the entirety of her existence is completely erased and lost to the Sea of Nothingness beyond all layers and stories, she can regain her form just by thinking), Beyond-Dimensional Existence, Transduality (Type 2, She exists beyond the Human Domain and all its dualities), Existence Erasure (Can erase beings out of existence using her plot manipulation), True Flight, Text Manipulation and Information Manipulation (via manipulating the plot), Nonexistent Physiology (Type 2. Exists as an entity of nothingness at the core of her being, with her physical form being constructed and defined solely by her thoughts), Durability Negation (Can manipulate the plot for a character to get hurt without the need of an attack), Red and Blue Truths. Resistance to Mind, Soul, and Void Manipulation (Higher Beings adapt to the atmospheric pressure of higher worlds which can erase one's mind and soul. This allows them to resist it overtime so they won't get erased by said pressure)

All powers from before on a much higher level, Omnipresence (Exists as a fundamental law that holds up the pillar of the universe), massively enhanced Plot Manipulation (After ascending beyond 07th Expansion's cosmology, she gained the ability to manipulate the plot to such an extreme degree that she now has control over the entire cosmological structure with her writings), possibly Regeneration (True-Godly. Exists beyond the limits of the entire cosmology, in turn putting the actor entity above the Depths of Oblivion which serves as the eternal afterlife for all beings of the Meta-World. It is therefore possible that she could have regeneration beyond this and something comparable to her avatars, meaning she'd be capable of returning even after dying beyond the Depths of Oblivion)

Attack Potency: Human level (Is physically a normal human). Truths can negate durability | High Outerverse level, possibly higher (Created and fully governs the City of Books, where infinite universes and stories are contained and to which Umineko as a whole is just one tale among countless others, with the lives and journeys of individual characters amounting to little more than single lines of a book. Immensely more powerful than the likes of Bernkastel and Lambdadelta, being considered the most powerful Witch in existence and head of the Senate. Transcends the Witch Domain, a realm which contains the infinitely-expanding Sea of Fragments, in the same manner it transcends the Human Domain. Is the described as the Witch who most closely reached the power of the Creator, a boundless being freed from all limitations. Reached the last boundary towards the Creator's Realm before she touched the last boundary. Is far beyond the likes of Voyagers like Bernkastel and Lambdadelta, who embody the infinite hierarchy of the Human and Witch Domains in their abstract forms). Can negate durability in many ways | Extraverse level (After she had reached the top of the hierarchy of the Human Domain, Witch Domain, and Third Domain in totality, her true form ascended into the "Kingdom of God", The Creator's Domain. This serves as a road leading up to the Creator itself, in its boundless entirety. The Creator is said to be able to give birth to 1 from 0, and then return it there once again in a flash. Her true form is a law that governs reality. Is far stronger than before, thanks to her transcendence of the Sea of Oblivion, a realm which acts as "Hell" for beings in the MetaWorld and sits in transcendence to the Third Domain. The difference between the Human Domain and higher worlds is described as meaningless in her eyes. Featherine's "true form" is transcendent even in reference to her Witch and 3rd Domain avatars, as she's an actor entity which sees even the difference between 3rd Domain Featherine and a "normal" human like Ikuko Hachijo as completely meaningless)

Speed: Average Human | Irrelevant (Transcendent even in reference to the Witch Domain's limitations, which are above all the Human Domain's measurements. Can manifest a lower avatar of herself within the City of Books, a place which houses an uncountable number of stories and narratives, and transcends most of the Witch Domain. Blitzed Lambdadelta by stopping the plot, before she even knew what happened) | Irrelevant (Exists as a pillar across all of 07th Expansion's cosmology, including realms such as the Kingdom of God and Third Domain)

Lifting Strength: Regular Human | Irrelevant | Irrelevant

Striking Strength: Human Class | High Outerversal, possibly higher | Extraversal

Durability: Human level. Her Immortality can cause her to be difficult to be permanently put down | High Outerverse level, possibly higher. Her Regeneration and Immortality make her hard to kill | Extraverse level

Stamina: Unknown | Inexhaustible | Inexhaustible

Range: Standard melee range normally. High Outerversal with Truths | High Outerversal, possibly higher | Extraversal

Standard Equipment: None notable | Memory Device, The Overlord Cats | None notable for her true form

Intelligence: At least Above Average (Despite having grown up fairly ostracized from society, Ikuko is notably intelligent. She is an influential writer who has drawn in a large fanbase, and along with Tohya's help, both of them have created the tales of Rokkenjima. As a decently-aged author, she has a large pool of knowledge to pull from for her writings) | Nigh-Omniscient (Knows everything in Umineko, as she was the one who created the story in the first place. Created the City of Books, which contains countless fragments and books. However, she is still intrigued on where the narrative begins and where it ends, and states herself that she doesn't know the answer)

Weaknesses: Ikuko is physically just a normal human | Became ill with boredom due to her extreme power and age, and is normally a very sickly individual unable to muster the will to even restart her own heart. As a result of her age and the height of her existence, her memories and sense of self are very frail, and thus she needs a device in order to record and maintain her personality and attributes, which can cause her own form and character to radically change if damaged | None notable

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Power of the Pencil: Having long transcended the realm of Witches and accessed a higher domain from which even they are nothing but pieces on a chessboard, Featherine holds the power to look down upon all of existence as the script of a tale which she can easily modify and rewrite according to her whims, paralyzing the narrative itself in a manner akin to a person stopping to turn the pages of a book and writing down her desired scenarios. This ability is also shared by her lower manifestations and projections in the lesser domains, allowing them to rewrite and affect the plot from the inside as well.

Truths: Special moves utilized in debates between Witches and Humans taking place in the Meta-World, being statements denoted by specific colors which often manifest as conceptual weapons that directly target the enemy's very existence in an attempt to deny it, and are thus impossible to physically avoid, forcing opponents to counter the attacker's arguments with another truth. As the damage dealt by the Truths is conceptual, rather than strictly physical, they completely bypass conventional durability.

Note: While this is a heavily debated topic, beings such as "Creators" and "The Creator" can mutually coexist, as I do not believe they are talking about the same being. Similar to how "gods" doesn't necessarily mean the same thing as "God", but both aren't necessarily mutually exclusive of one another, as there can be multiple "gods" but a singular "God" that rules over them all. I believe this is a similar case; Featherine is a "Creator Witch", but "The Creator" is a separate being entirely that sits above the entire cosmology, even transcending Featherine's true form.

Note 2: It should also be noted that "Featherine's" true self and her roles in the story seem to be completely different entities, in the same manner an actor or actress is a different person from the roles they play in movies, TV, etc. The story makes reference to how both Featherine and Ikuko are but trivial roles that this entity plays in the story, and could presumably even be talking about Ryukishi07 himself. However, until this is further confirmed in-verse, Featherine/Ikuko and the "Actor Entity" are counted as the same character in this profile, even though it's still up in the air as to whether or not they actually are.
