Summary[]
Gale Weathers was an investigative journalist in Woodsburro when the first ghostface killings happened. She would assist Sidney Prescott & Dewey Riley in killing the first 2 ghostfaces, and would join them as they got attacked by numerous other people dawning the ghostface costume.
Gale would gain some fame due to her encounters with Ghostface, and would write about the experiences in her books, which would later get adapted into the Stab franchise, a movie series inside of the Scream series.

Her investigation prowess led her to a conclusion of Cotton Weary’s innocence involving the murder of Maureen Prescott, pointing out that Sidney falsely identified him, claiming how the latter saw someone else leave wearing Cotton’s coat, reading Sidney’s expression and claiming how Sidney herself isn’t so sure anymore and correctly linking Maureen’s death to the current murders. Would likely hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as journalism or communication due to her job as a news reporter. Investigated the events regarding the shadiness of Sunrise Studios along with Jennifer, which the duo manage to uncover the truth about learning of Maureen being a former actress at the studio by Bianca Burnette, who was under the alias of “Rina Reynolds”, thus being tied and connected to Sidney, who is the intended main target, explaining why she came out of hiding from her house in Northern California. Managed to locate an abandoned theatre which was turned into a shrine, memorializing all past Ghostface victims and killers, all within a day, despite the shrine having gone completely unnoticed through the radar of the NYPD for several months. Has penned several books as a seasoned author that further established her credibility and depth of knowledge in the field)
