Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Summary[]

The GMK Godzilla (ゴジラ GMK Gojira?) is a kaiju that appeared in the 2001 Godzilla film, Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.

It is the third incarnation of Godzilla to appear in the Millennium series of films and the seventh onscreen incarnation of the character overall. Unlike other interpretations of the character, this Godzilla is a supernatural entity spawned by the restless souls of those killed by the Japanese military during World War II. Godzilla sought revenge against Japan for its past crimes and came ashore to punish the nation by obliterating its cities. To combat the beast, the prophet Hirotoshi Isayama awakened three Guardian Monsters, Baragon, Mothra and King Ghidorah, in the hopes they would defend the country. Godzilla easily defeated all three monsters, but their efforts exploited a weakness in Godzilla that the JSDF used to finally defeat him. However, even after Godzilla's body was destroyed, his heart was left behind, continuously beating on the sea floor.

Powers and Stats[]

Tier: At least Low 5-B, Higher with Gravitational Atomic Breath

Name: Godzilla, King of the Monsters, God of Destruction

Origin: Godzilla

Gender: Male

Age: At least 200 million years old, likely higher

Classification: Resurrected kaiju created by the souls of those killed by Japan in WWII

Powers and Abilities:

  • Self-Sustenance (Types 1 & 2; Though technically a reptile and not an amphibian, Godzilla has an amphibious lifestyle. He spends half of his life in water and the other on land. Godzilla can remain completely submerged underwater for long periods, and Kyohei Yamane suggests that he survived for millions of years living inside a deep underwater cavern. This idea is supported by official artwork of the 1954 Godzilla living with other Godzillas underwater before a huge explosion destroys his habitat, killing his companions and burning and enraging Godzilla, and drawing him to the surface. Can survive without food for long periods of time)

Attack Potency: At least Small Planet Level (His Atomic Breath is stronger than the Vapor Breath of the Original Godzilla. Vaporized Mothra with his Atomic Breath and injured King Ghidorah. Should scale above the Oxygen Destroyer, which is this powerful[Statistics Values 1]. Stated to be far stronger than the original Godzilla.) Higher with Gravitational Atomic Breath (Godzilla is somehow able to draw strength from the gravity beams and use the absorbed energy to fire a blast of his atomic breath wrapped in a golden spiral that destroys King Ghidorah, which was at least 10x times stronger than before.[Statistics Values 2])

Speed: Subsonic+ travel speed, with Relativistic+ Combat and Reactions speed

Lifting Strength: Class G (Stronger than the Original Godzilla.)

Striking Strength: At least Small Planet Class

Durability: At least Small Planet Level

Stamina: Infinite due to his nature as a spirit of vengeance

Range: Tens of Meters by sheer size, Hundreds of Meters with Atomic Breaths

Standard Equipment: Teeth, tail and claws

Intelligence: Average (This Godzilla seeks nothing except for the complete and utter destruction of Japan and all of its people as punishment for all of the deaths and atrocities caused by the Japanese military during World War II. This version of Godzilla actively sought out individual humans and attempted to kill them, as shown when he spotted a crowd of civilians and blasted them with his atomic breath. Utilizes his surroundings to his advantage, as shown when he notices a D-3 Missile fired from a Satsuma submarine and maneuvered King Ghidorah's head so that it would be struck by the missile)

Weaknesses: Puncturing his organs will cause his atomic breath to leak out which will eventually destroy his body, however, Godzilla was not truly killed, as his disembodied heart continued to beat on the seafloor

Notable Attacks and Techniques:
  • Atomic Breath (ほうしゃねっせん Hōsha Nessen?): Godzilla's signature weapon is his powerful Atomic Breath. The GMK Godzilla's atomic breath returns to the traditional bluish-hued laser of the Heisei series rather than the incendiary fiery-orange beam fired by the first two Millennium Godzillas. When charging the beam, Godzilla's dorsal fins actually stand up as they are surrounded by an intense blue glow. This Godzilla's atomic breath is extremely powerful, and is capable of producing a mushroom cloud upon impact or crippling or destroying other kaiju in a single hit. It also possesses pinpoint accuracy, demonstrated when Godzilla easily blasts numerous fighter jets out of the sky with it. The beam is also not impeded when fired underwater, shown when Godzilla uses it against King Ghidorah when they are fighting underwater.
  • Gravitational Atomic Breath (いんりょくほうしゃねっせん Inryoku-hōsha Nessen?): Godzilla demonstrates a variation of his normal atomic breath at the end of the film, when he absorbs energy from King Ghidorah's gravity beams into his dorsal plates and combines it with his atomic breath, producing an even stronger blue beam wrapped in a yellow electrical spiral, called the Gravitational Atomic Breath. This beam was powerful enough to completely destroy King Ghidorah in a single hit.
  • Tail Swipe: Godzilla used super strength with his tail to swat Baragon.
  • Instinctive Reaction: Struck a Mothra without having any sensory clue it was behind him.
