Summary[]
Goliath and his group were used to guard a castle at night while the knights would guard the Gargoyles during the day when they turn to stone during the day, however, despite their relationship, the humans hated the Gargoyles. One day, most of the Gargoyles were destroyed and a wizard was tricked into turning the rest of the Gargoyles to stone permanently, except for Goliath. After learning that the only way to turn the Gargoyles back is to raise the castle above the clouds, Goliath gave up and let himself be turned to stone.
Over 1000 years later, a rich businessman named Xanthos actually fulfilled the curse's requirement which broke the Gargoyles free.
