Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Summary[]

Gordon Freeman is the main protagonist of the Half-Life series. He is a theoretical physicist who is forced to defend himself and the Human race against hostile Aliens and other enemies following an experiment gone wrong. In the process, he becomes an almost legendary resistance hero, eventually becoming one of the leaders of an uprising against The Combine

Could blow up a gate with his explosives[Statistics Values 2]. Can harm those who can harm him. Can fight and kill zombies and vortigaunts, the later of which is able to destroy metal doors[Statistics Values 3]. Can Kill the Gargantua, who could destroy a large gate in a single attack[Statistics Values 4].), likely Town Level Physically (Can harm those who can hurt himself, so he compares to his durability.), Mountain Level to at least Large Mountain Level+ (His Tau Canon is this Powerful[Statistics Values 5].) They are also experimental prototypes intended to be weapons with one of the weapons being found alongside a laser generator and they both use the same ammunition (Depleted Uranium). AR2 Orbs are made out of dark enegry which moves twice the speed of light)

  • Melee & handguns
    • Crowbar: Gordon's iconic crowbar, which is the first acquired weapon in both the training mode and the campaign. Gordon is capable of using it to break boxes or other destructible blockades without wasting ammo.
    • 9mm Semi-Automatic Pistol: Based on the Glock, this pistol carries 17 bullets in each cartridge and Gordon can carry 250 in reserve. This weapon shares ammo with the Submachine Gun and is used by Black Mesa security guards and Black Ops Female Assassins, who wields it with a silencer.
    • .357 Magnum Revolver: Based on the Colt Python, carrying 6 rounds in a single speedloader clip with 36 in reserve, the .357 Magnum is capable of firing a highly accurate and incredibly strong shot.
  • Long guns
    • Submachine Gun: Based off the Heckler & Koch MP5SD. The Submachine Gun carries 50 shots, but shares the reserve with the 9mm Pistol. It shoots at a rapid pace with it's standard fire, but with the alternative fire, it can launch a grenade from it's under-barrel grenade launcher. The launcher fires directly from the reserve, which contains 10 grenades.
    • Semi-Automatic Assault Shotgun: Based of the SPAS-12 shotgun. The primary fire releases multiple pellets, dealing incredible damage to the target at close range. The alternate fire releases twice the amount of pellets as the primary fire, capable of dealing twice the amount of damage at the cost of a slower recover time and the use of two shells.
    • Black Mesa Crossbow: A Tranquilizer Gun that acts as the sniper weapon for Gordon. It fires tranquilizer darts with the primary fire and has an attached scope.
  • Biological, experimental and heavy weaponry
    • Hivehand: Biological weapon wielded by the Alien Grunts, this hive releases hornets with a trigger, these hornets track towards the target to deal damage to them. The Hivehand can also release hornets a rapid pace, but these hornets won't home in on targets.
    • Rocket-Propelled Grenade Launcher: An RPG based off the Armbrust rocket launcher. This weapon releases a rocket that begins flying forward after a second, exploding with any it comes into contact with. By default, the rocket has laser guidance activated, allowing the rocket to turn towards the end point of the laser, which can be turned off with the alternate fire.
    • Tau Cannon: An experimental weapon that fires a beam of tau particles with the primary weapon. The alternate fire allows Gordon to charge up the weapon, dealing damage capable of killing most monsters in one-shot. If Gordon keeps charging the weapon for too long, Gordon will be hit with the stored energy, severely damaging him.
    • Gluon Gun: An experimental weapon, developed in the Lambda Complex, that is carried on the back. It's primary fire releases a spiral of energy capable of harming most monsters.
  • Throwables
    • Fragmentation Grenade: An MK2 grenade that explodes after five seconds when the pin is pulled.
    • Laser Tripmine: A mine that can be attached to the ground, wall or ceiling. Upon being attached, if something touches the laser, it explodes.
    • Satchel Charge: Remote detonated explosives.

  • Utilities
    • Crowbar: Gordon's iconic crowbar, given to him by Barney Calhoun. Gordon became efficient enough at the crowbar to be capable killing headcrabs in a single hit.
    • Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator: Another iconic weapon of the freeman. Originally designed for handling hazardous material, before being mostly used for heavy lifting. The primary trigger releases a discharge of energy, allowing Gordon to punt small objects or push broken down cars. The secondary trigger lifts the object, which can be put down gently by pressing the secondary trigger again or be thrown with the primary trigger. The secondary trigger is capable of attracting far away objects from boxes to oil drums.
    • Fragmentation Grenade: A throwable grenade, which explodes after a few seconds when thrown.
    • Pherapods: Also known as Bugbait, this organic ball, that was retrieved from an Antlion Guard by a Vortigaunt, is capable of controlling antlions through various actions. By throwing the Bugbait, it will release pheramones that tells the antlions to move to that location or to attack the unfortunate target that the bait landed on. By squeezing the Bugbait, it will convince the antlions to follow the Freeman personally.
  • Handguns
    • 9mm Pistol: Based on the USP Match, it carries 18 bullets in each cartridge and 150 in reserve. Unlike the Black Mesa pistol variant, this does not share ammunition with the Submachine Gun and has no secondary fire.
    • .367 Magnum: Based on the Colt Python, carrying 6 rounds in a single speedloader clip with 12 in reserve, the .357 Magnum is capable of firing a highly accurate and incredibly strong shot.
  • Long guns
    • Submachine Gun: Based on the MP7 submachine gun, carrying 45 rounds in each cartridge and 270 in reserve. This automatic submachine gun can fire bullets in a rapid pace and with the secondary fire, it can release a grenade from it's grenade launcher, which carries 3 grenades inside.
    • 12-Gauge Shotgun: Based of the SPAS-12 shotgun. The primary fire releases multiple pellets, dealing incredible damage to the target at close range. The alternate fire releases twice the amount of pellets as the primary fire, capable of dealing twice the amount of damage at the cost of a slower recover time and the use of two shells.
    • Resistance Crossbow: A crossbow constructed by the Resistance of the Combine Era, featuring a scope, a battery attached under the barrel and rebar, which is heated by the aforementioned battery, as ammunition. It's primary fire releases the rebar at high speeds, capable of pinning soldiers to billboards and walls. Gordon is capable of using the scope to zoom in on targets, while still being able to fire.
  • Heavy weaponry
    • Overwatch Standard Issue Pulse Rifle: Combine weapon that bears resemblance to rifles of our world. It's primary fire releases energy projectiles at a rapid pace, like that of automatic weapons, from the magazine that carries 30 rounds. The secondary fire releases a ball of dark energy, capable of vaporizing any creature it comes into contact with, including Combine Hunters.
    • Rocket-Propelled Grenade Launcher: This RPG, based off the AT4, is capable of firing a rocket, which explodes upon contact with anything. It's blast is powerful enough, that it can down a Combine Gunship is precisely 3 hits and destroy a Combine Dropship container in roughly 4 hits. It also has an attached laser guide, which allows Gordon to steer the rocket, allowing it to avoid Gunship fire.


  • Intelligence: Genius (Scientist at Black Mesa with a Ph.D. in theoretical physics)

    Weaknesses: The HEV suit has to be recharged from time to time upon being damaged, otherwise Gordon's durability decreases drastically.
