Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Why do you hate me so much? I don't mean your problem with super-people in general, or why your team has the agenda that it does. I mean why do you hate me? I can hear your heartbeat, you know. You can keep your face perfectly still, but can't stop your heart pounding along like that - and I know it's not from fear, I'd be able to smell it. It's anger.
~ Homelander to Billy Butcher[1]

Summary[]

The Homelander is said to have been an alien baby discovered in a prairie after crash-landing who aged rapidly before becoming leader of a superhero team, The Seven, as the strongest and greatest superhero in the world.[2]

In reality, Homelander, along with every other superhero, is the product of an experiment with refined Compound V,[3] a chemical developed by Nazi Germany used to grant superhuman powers, by the Vought-American corporation to create a team of superheroes for merchandising profit.[4] Also like the other "heroes" (but worse), beneath his public heroic façade, he is a highly depraved, corrupt, immoral, arrogant, sociopathic bully due to a combination of the chemical's side effects and his childhood in an isolated militaristic silo.

He is allegedly responsible for the sexual assault and death (from subsequent complications) of Becky Butcher, wife of Billy Butcher,[5] the leader of a power-patrolling CIA black ops team known as "the Boys", putting him at the top of Billy's extensive superhuman hit list.
