Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Homelander Background
Starlight lied to you just now. She did. I don't make mistakes. I'm not "just like the rest of you." I'm stronger. I'm smarter. I'm better! I AM BETTER! I'm not some weak-kneed fucking crybaby, that goes around fucking apologizing all the time, and why the fuck would you want me to be? ...All my life, people have tried to control me. My whole life. Rich people, powerful people have tried to muzzle me, cancel me, keep me impotent and obedient, like I’m a fucking puppet. You know what? It worked. Because I allowed it to work. And guess what? If they can control me, then you can bet your ass they can control you. They already do. You just don't realize it. I'm done. I am done apologizing, I am done being persecuted for my strength. You people should be thanking Christ that I am who and what I am because you need me. You need me to save you. You do. I am the only one who possibly can. You're not the real heroes. I'm the real hero.
~ Homelander

Summary[]

Homelander is one of the main characters in the Amazon series The Boys. He's the world's most powerful superhero and leader of the greatest group of them, The Seven. Homelander, along with every other superhero, is the product of experiments with refined Compound V, a chemical developed by Nazi Germany used to grant superhuman powers, by the Vought-American corporation to create superheroes for merchandising profit.

Homelander was raised like a lab rat in a facility to keep others safe from his powers. Throughout his childhood, he was subject to multiple experiments to test his strength, all while the staff maintained their distance and feared him. The scientists in charge eventually regretted not socializing him with a family, as a lack of love and care led him to develop a warped sense of right, wrong, love, and connection. As he grew into adulthood, he developed a love for superheroes, the original hero Soldier Boy in particular, as they represented the closest thing to equals in his eyes, and despite being powerful, were not feared but loved. In public, he emulates heroic behavior, acting modestly and with extraordinary righteousness and amiability towards others, a facade he alternates between hating or sadistically enjoying, especially when used on people who know his true colors.

As a self-proclaimed god, Homelander enjoys being able to do anything that he wants, but feels secretly lonely due to being superior to everyone else. He would develop a toxic relationship with Madelyn Stillwell, an older woman than himself who was the Vice President of Vought International, the company that owned The Seven. She seduced Homelander in a sexual manner by playing mother to him and managed to be the only person Homelander cared about, corrupting him even further by forcing him to maintain perfect standards, manipulating and lying to him in ways that didn't go unnoticed, ultimately resulting in Homelander killing her.

Afterward, Homelander would have a new person he would seem to care about, a son he had with a woman he raped 8 years prior, Ryan. Homelander now dedicated himself to seeking Ryan's approval as a father while trying to raise him in his image.

Powers and Stats[]

Tier: 8-A, likely 7-C, possibly 7-B, Higher with Rage Power and Heat Vision

Name: Homelander, John, Man-Child (by Stan Edgar), Gramps (by Stormfront), The Only Man In the Sky (Self-Proclaimed)

Origin: The Boys

Gender: Male

Age: 43 years old (born in the spring of 1981)

Classification: Supe (Genetically enhanced human), The World's Greatest Superhero, Leader of the Seven

Powers and Abilities:

Attack Potency: Multi-City Block Level+, likely Town Level, possibly City Level+ (Officially declared to be the strongest Supe in the verse. Meaning he is stronger than Soldier Boy, who could create several large nuclear explosions. Threatened to wipe New York and a few other cities off the map for fun. Stated to be capable of leveling cities in a few minutes, which can be calculated to be this powerful[Statistics Values 1]. Fought and overpowered Soldier Boy and amped Billy Bucther.) Higher with Heat Vision (Superior to Butchers heat vision, which was able to badly scar Soldier Boy's face.) and Rage Power (Overpowered Billy, Soldier Boy, and Hughie by getting angry.)

Speed: Massively Hypersonic Travel and Combat and Reactions speed (Saved Billy Butcher from a C4 explosion, which was calculated to be this fast.[Statistics Values 2] Flew at mach 1.5 when looking for translucent. He stated he broke the sound barrier when he was a kid. Massively upscales A-Train, who could cover all boroughs in New York City, and was sent by Homelander personally to create Supe Terrorist around the world.[Statistics Values 3]) Possibly Relativistic+ (Homelander's Heat Vision is described as being light speed and Soldier Boy can react to them, however, A-Train could see Annie's beams, which are described as also being light, as frozen, which would make A-Train this fast. One could argue that this is to unrealistic for the verse and Homelander cant be relative to the Speed of Light.)

Lifting Strength: Class M (Could bend some steel with a bit of effort.[Statistics Values 4] Stronger than stormfront, who is able to lift things that would weigh just shy of a 747, and Homelander himself even implied he could lift one. Stronger than Sam, who can rip off human spines[Statistics Values 5]. Could easily throw a dude into the air with one arm[Statistics Values 6]. Threw a baseball from New York City, with Stillwell stating it would land in Boston, which would require this much force.[Statistics Values 7] Tore Web Weaver in half.) Higher with Rage Power (Easily overpowered Billy, Soldier Boy, and Hughie at once thanks to his rage.)

Striking Strength: Multi-City Block Class+, Likely Town Class, possibly City Class+, Higher with Rage Power

Durability: Multi-City Block Level+, Likely Town Level[Statistics Values 8] possibly City Level+ (No-Sold a Nuclear Powerplant explosion.)

Stamina: Peak Human (Due to being far stronger than every human in all aspects, Homelander should have such stamina. However, he did seem to tire quickly when sleeping with Stillwell, and we never see him exert himself for long periods of times when fighting others.)

Range: Standard Melee Range, Tens of Meters with Heat Vision.

Standard Equipment: None Notable

Intelligence: Above Average. (is a master manipulator, and was able to hide his crimes for several years)

Weaknesses: X-Ray vision cannot see through zinc. His god-complex makes him megalomaniacal, egotistical, narcissistic, and short-tempered. Loud noises can mess with his super-hearing, but he's adapted to this weakness a bit more.

Note: While every weapon would include the Tsar Bomba, there’s reasons why the statement likely wouldn’t include that bomb. For one, at this moment in time, only Russia had access to the Tsar Bomba, so it’s not very likely that they had used that specific nuke on him. The second issue is that someone who is considered nearly as strong as Homelander himself was stated to be able to die to Hydrogen bombs which include the Tsar Bomba, and three, Vought likes to lie a lot and they aren't credible at all, so its very unlikely that Theye'd actually have access to nuclear weapons. Also, regarding Nubia, Homelander wouldn't scale to it as we don't see her create her storm in a combat applicable way, plus I've heard that the feat has apparently been debunked to Large Building Level, i don't not have the debunk, but i did send a friend request to someone who supposedly has it and im waiting from a response from them. Its also a Hax thing as well. So it’s very likely that Homelander wouldn’t upscale nukes.
