In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Summary[]

The Insomniac's Marvel Gaming Universe (also known by its Earth designation of Earth-1048) is a shared universe which consists on a series of superheroes' videogames developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Marvel's Spider-Man, the first of these, is a 2018 action-adventure game based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man. It's inspired by the long-running comic book mythology and adaptations in other media. In the game's main storyline, the super-human crime lord Mr. Negative orchestrates a plot to seize control of New York City's criminal underworld. When Mr. Negative threatens to release a deadly virus, Spider-Man must confront him and protect the city while dealing with the personal problems of his civilian persona, Peter Parker. The second game, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, released in 2020, features a different protagonist in the form of Peter's protege, Miles Morales, who is based off of the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It follows Miles as attempts to balance his personal life and defending New York on his own Parker leaves to join his girlfriend, Daily Bugle reporter Mary Jane Watson, abroad as her photographer to cover the ongoing civil war in Symkaria. In 2023 is released Marvel's Spider-Man 2, the third game of the franchise. The plot follows Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they come into conflict with Kraven the Hunter, who transforms New York City into a hunting ground for super-powered individuals; and with the extraterrestrial Venom symbiote, which bonds itself to Peter and negatively influences him, threatening to destroy his personal relationships. Lastly, in 2026 will be released Marvel's Wolverine, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.

Power of the Verse[]

This verse is somewhat powerful, with low tiers scaling to Wall level while most characters are placed at Small Town level due to scaling to the game's titular character, Spider-Man. The second Spider-Man, Miles Morales, can reach up to City level with the use of his Energy Absorption. In terms of speed, the verse is placed at Hypersonic.
