Summary[]
Mark Grayson is the titular protagonist of the Invincible comic series. An Earth-born Viltrimite and son of famous hero Omni-Man, Mark constantly struggles to live up to his father's prestige and be the hero Earth needs.
As a child, his father told him that the Viltrimites were a peaceful species that ventured throughout the galaxy using their abilities to help lesser-developed species. However, one day Mark realized the truth, the Viltrimites were a ruthless species that had slaughtered countless civilizations, conquering thousands of planets and becoming the dominant empire across the galaxy.
He now fights for good across all of Earth, trying to escape the dark past of his people
Power and Stats[]
Tier: High 6-A | High 5-A, possibly 4-C | At least High 5-A, possibly 4-C, likely far higher
Key: Teenager | Post-Thraxa to Viltrumite War | Post Resurrection
Name: Markus "Mark" Grayson
Origin: Invincible
Gender: Male
Age: 17 years old to mid 20s | Over 500 years old as of the timeskip
Classification: Viltrimite-Human half breed
Powers and Abilities:
Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Flight, Longevity, Regeneration (High-Low; Viltrumites naturally possess a regeneration for lethal wounds. Mark has recovered from hole punched through his stomach, broken bones, and many other injuries. Other viltrumites have recovered from equally lethal wounds, like Conquest regenerating his crushed skull, and Lucan recovering from his disembowlement) Reactive Evolution, Rage Power (Viltruimites naturally get stronger in response to physical trauma. Mark's adrenaline and rage allowed him to defeat and eventually kill Conquest). Smart Atoms
Attack Potency: Multi Continent level (Made a huge crater onto the moon, creating a shockwave and dust cloud that spanned tens to hundreds of kilometers in seconds)[Statistics Values 1]
Speed: Massively FTL+ (Can fight and react to Allen in combat, who casually flew from the edge of the Solar System to Earth in 12 minutes, and could also fly from Earth to Talescria and back)[Statistics Values 2]
Lifting Strength: Class P (Sent giant Moon rocks flying)[Statistics Values 3]
Striking Strength: Multi Continent level
Durability: Multi Continent level (Can withstand his own attacks. Can take blows from Allen the Alien, who could cause irreparable damage to entire planets just by flying past them, implying at least life wiping, to potentially surface wiping destruction)
Attack Potency: Dwarf Star level (Destroyed planet Viltrum alongside his father and Thaedus, ripping apart the planet's surface, and blowing apart the entire planet beyond it's orbit. Comparable to Tech Jacket, with his evil variants nearly killing him, who's casually this powerful), possibly Star level (See Viltrum's durability note[Note 1]. Should be comparable to his father, if only marginally weaker. Possibly scales to Omnipotus at nearly full power, who can cause chain reactions that wipe out entire star systems with his powers, implying at least stellar levels of power. Should scale above the Coalition of Planet's weaponry, which include this level of power[Note 2])
Speed: Massively FTL+ (Comparable to Omniman, who casually flew across galaxies while on a soul searching journey. Average Viltrumites can fly across lightyears within weeks. Flew so fast dozens of galaxies were mere blurrs in the distance)
Lifting Strength: Class Z (Ripped apart Planet Viltrum with his strength. Even weakened Viltrumites could contribute to ripping apart Eart), possibly Stellar (Comparable to Suprema, who can manage stellar masses. Comparable to Tech Jacket)[Statistics Values 4]
Striking Strength: Dwarf Star level, possibly Star level
Durability: Dwarf Star level, possibly Star level (Survived the recoil of Viltrum's destruction. Can withstand attacks from other Viltrumites. An alternate universe version of himself fought and survived Omega Tech Jacket's plasma waves, which should be comparable to the mainline Tech Jacket's power. Said variant of Invincible also withstood getting beaten by the Emperor offscreen, who was a fusion of Omega Tech Jacket and Brit[1])
Attack Potency: At least Dwarf Star level (After being rebuilt on the subatomic level by Atom Eve, he became far stronger. Capable of contending with Thragg, who can take beatings from 4 high ranking Viltrumites, oneshot Thaedus casually, could kill both Viltrumite-War Mark and Nolan, fought hordes of Rognarrs while heavily wounded, with a single Rognarr being strong enough to oneshot Anissa, who scales vastly above Pre-Resurrection Mark)
Speed: At least Massively FTL+ likely far higher (Fought on par with Thragg, who was superior to previous key Invincible)
Lifting Strength: Class Z possibly Stellar (Far stronger than before)
Striking Strength: At least Dwarf Star level, possibly Star level
Durability: At least Dwarf Star level, possibly Star level (Withstood attacks from Thragg, who was stronger than Omni-Man and brutalized Viltrumite War Invincible)
Stamina: Superhuman (Viltrumites have incredible stamina and resilience. With Mark being capable of fighting with multiple broken bones and severe wounds. Beat Conquest in a fight despite shattering his arms and legs in the process, later choking him to death despite his own disembowelment. Fought evenly with Thragg while their skin and muscles melted in the surface of the sun, approaching the limits of their heat resistances)
Range: Standard Melee Range
Standard Equipment: None notable
Intelligence: Average, likely higher with Genius combat skill (Mark has a standard high school level education, having worked with the GDA for months, Coalition of Planets, and the Viltrumite Empire. Mark is an extraordinarily skilled combatant, having fought warriors like Allen the Alien, who has been trained since birth to be the universe's greatest warrior, and many adult Viltrumites, who possess thousands of years of combat experience and experience conquering entire planets) | At least Genius (After becoming the true leader of the Viltrumite Empire, Mark successfully brought upon intergalactic peace, with Allen outright admiting his success at making the CoP obsolete. His combat skill has also increased greatly, now on par with Thragg and Battle Beast, the former trained since birth to be the strongest viltrumite, educated in all manners of combat. And the latter being considered"The Galaxy's deadliest warrior", an extraordinarily skilled hunter and warior, with his skills in hand to hand combat, weapon handling, and mastery of all known combat styles being at nearly unparalleled peak of perfection, and has conquered thousands of worlds, destroying countless empires
Weaknesses: His extreme heat resistance does have a limit, after prolonged exposure to the sun he had nearly died. Cecil has discovered a specific high frequency sound that disables Viltrimite flight and can cause severe trauma, this aided in the death of an alternate-universe Invincible. Their healing factor requires the heart to be in functioning condition, and if it suffers severe damage they will die

Notes/Explanations[]
- ↑ Thaedus notes that Space Racer's gun directly impacting planet Viltrum would only temporarily destabilize the planet's core (and it would recover from such damage very quickly), despite the gun stated to pierce entire stars (Seen in the show as exploding them). While Thaedus, Mark, and Nolan destroyed the planet, causing it to explode
- ↑ It's an explicit plot point throughout the story that the Coalition of Planets were completely incapable of fending off the Viltrumite Empire, and required Omni-Man's specialized list of weapons to stand a chance. For further support/context, Conquest casually destroyed the very same war ship that destroyed the Solar Disk
