Summary[]
Invincible is an American TV series based on the comic, written by Robert Kirkman, illustrated by Cory Walker and published by Image Comics. The series began airing on March 25, 2021 and is still ongoing with 2 seasons so far and a third currently airing with 3 released episodes.
Set in the Invincible Universe, the series follows the coming of age of Mark Grayson who goes by his superhero alias Invincible, a Human-Viltrumite and first-born son of Omni-Man, the most powerful person on the planet.
Powers of the Verse[]
Invincible is a fairly strong verse, with weaker characters casually showcasing Wall to Town level feats, with the mid tiers showcasing Mountain level+ to Multi-Continent level feats. The high to top tiers, like a Pre and Post training Mark and Omni-Man showcase Multi-Continental to Small Planet level feats and scaling. This comes from Mark's Moon Jump, Omni-Man's claim that he diverted a Meteor the size of Texas, Omni-Man surface wiping the Flaxan home world, Mark surviving the Mauler's EMP Missile and a statement from Allen about the Viltrumites blowing up his home world. The series has a long way to go in terms of adapting the Comics, so this isn't even close to the peak of their power. Speed wise the verse is very impressive, with Omni-Man being capable of flying across galaxies reaching Massively FTL+, and impressive lifting strength with results ranging from Class 100 all the way to Pre-Stellar.
