Summary[]
Shouichi Tsugami (津上 翔一 Tsugami Shōichi) is an amnesiac young man, who has been adopted the addressed name on a letter found in his possession when he washed ashore. A generous, simple, all-around nice guy, he lives with the Misugi family and does all of the household chores. Using the Alter Ring belt, Shouichi can transform into Kamen Rider Agito (仮面ライダーアギト Kamen Raidā Agito), an ancient and powerful warrior and fighter against the Unknown due to being somewhat tied to his forgotten past. As the series progressed, he discovers the reason behind his amnesia and his real name.

Stamina: Superhuman (The Wiseman Monolith and Altering supplies and circulates energy within his body. Shouichi had an emergency surgery after getting hit by one of Ericius Riqueur's needles. The surgery was performed on the middle of a road while Shouichi was conscious and had no anesthesia. Shouichi went on to fight him right after that)

- Machine Tornador: Machine Tornador is a motorcycle that communicates with Agito. In Bike Mode, it can drive at 430 km/h. It has automatic driving and X-Ray Vision. When the Lord of Darkness gave some of his power to Machine Tornador, he gained access to Slider Mode. In this mode, Machine Tornador is able to fly at 720 km/h. In Slider Mode, Agito can perform “Dragon Breath”, “Rider Break” and “Halberd Break”.
- Altering: Agito's transformation belt. By pressing both the buttons (called Lumbar Switches) of the sides of the belt, an energy called "Alterforce" is supplied to Shouichi granting him the powers of Agito. If Agito presses the left button, he will assume Storm Form and summon the Storm Halberd from the Philosopher Stone located at the center of his belt. If he presses the right button, he will assume Flame Form and summon Flame Saber. If he presses both buttons again, he can go into Trinity Form, summoning both Storm Halberd and Flame Saber. If he equips the "Dragon's Nail" piece to his belt, he can transform into Burning Form or Shining Form. In some transformations, he is shown to be able to change forms even without pressing the buttons.
- Storm Halberd: Agito Storm Form's personal naginata. This weapon can generate strong winds by swinging it around and after a few spins, it can generate a storm. The stronger the winds, the more powerful Storm Halberd and Agito Storm Form gets. If enough power is generated, "Halberd Spin" can be performed. When used in conjunction with Flame Saber, "Firestorm Attack" can be performed.
- Flame Saber: Agito Flame Form's personal sword. This weapon's power is increased in proportion to the temperature of the blade. The heat generated from Agito Flame Form's Alterforce can be sent to the Flame Saber. When the horns are unfolded, Flame Saber's power is fully released raising Flame Saber's temperature to 7000 degrees Celsius and "Saber Slash" can be performed. When used in conjunction with Storm Halberd, "Firestorm Attack" can be performed. It is possible to summon two Flame Sabers for Agito Flame Form to use. By releasing both the Flame Saber's power, "Double Saber Slash" can be performed.
- Shining Caliber: Agito Burning Form and Shining Form's personal weapon. Shining Caliber is the strongest weapon in Agito's weapon that have two modes. In Burning Form, Agito will use it's "Single Mode", a naginata type weapon. If this weapon generates enough power, "Burning Bomber" can be performed. In Shining Form, Agito will use it's "Twin Mode", a dual-wielding sword mode which has the power of light and fire. If this weapon generates enough power, "Shining Clash" can be performed.
Intelligence: Above Average (In contrast to his usual airheaded and bubbly self, Shouichi thought of creative ways of fighting the Lords, using the speed and increased momentum of riding the Machine Tornador to power up his attacks and gaining inspiration for defeating his enemies from the most unlikely sources, such as watching paper airplanes to defeat flying opponents. Even in his brief time as G3-X, due to being an innocent amnesiac who has a clear mind and thus someone who could handle the 'perfect AI' of G3-X, he fought with the same grace he fought with as Agito. Was capable of mastering G3-X before Hikawa did, Hikawa being a highly trained police officer who had used the G3 suit before. Has mastered many types of weapons without previous knowledge of how to use them).
Weaknesses: Nothing notable.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Rider Kick: By channeling power into his legs, he is able to execute his attack, a jumping kick of incredible raw power.
- Rider Brake: While riding the Machine Tornador in its Slider Mode, he uses the Machine Tornador's momentum to launch himself and perform a strengthened version of his Rider Kick, or the Dragon Breath, in which he rams the Machine Tornador into the enemy.
- Rider Punch: Similar to the Rider Kick, he channeling his energy and then punch the enemy really hard.
- Halberd Spin: Storm Form's finisher, in which Agito creates a powerful vortex by twirling the open Storm Halberd at rapid speeds before slashing the enemy. While riding the Machine Tornador, Storm Form's finisher is the Halberd Brake.
- Saber Slash: Flame Form's finish, a flaming slash that reduces the enemy to ashes. Agito can also create a second Flame Saber for the Double Saber Slash, a simultaneous slash with both swords. With the Machine Tornador, Flame Form is able to perform the Saber Brake.
- Fire Storm Attack: Trinity Form's finishers, a simultaneous slash with both the Storm Halberd and Flame Saber, and the Rider Shoot, a powerful drop kick attack infused with the powers of Storm and Flame Form.
- Burning Rider Punch: Burning Form's finisher while unarmed. Burning Form's finisher with the Shining Calibur is the Burning Bomber.
- Shining Clash: Shining Form's finisher with the Shining Calibur.
- Shining Rider Kick: His finisher while unarmed, a stronger version of Ground Form's Rider Kick that launches Agito forward at extreme speeds. In Movie War 2010, it was shown that Shining Form can also perform the Shining Rider Punch, as it was used by Shouichi Tsugami.
Note: The instance of an untransformed Shouichi striking back the OverLord of Darkness should be taken as Plot-Induced Stupidity. The OverLord of Darkness is clearly superior to the other Lords and early on no-selled an attack from Gills. Along with this, the OverLord of Light (his equal) was able to survive an attack from the OverLord of Darkness before spreading his essence. It should also be taken into consideration that when Shouichi struck the OverLord, the essences of Agito were already persistently fighting to return to the bodies of the Riders, along with paining him, essentially meaning it was inevitable that they were going to escape. Overall, this shouldn't be used as a point to rank an untransformed Shouichi far higher than his current tiering or to undersell how powerful Shining Agito is for harming the OverLord of Darkness.
