Leonardo, often referred to as Leo, is the leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Leonardo in the 1987 TV series is different from Leonardo in the Mirage comics and later 2003 TV series. Leonardo is the most serious and responsible of the 1987 TV series Ninja Turtles, and serves as the leader of the team. He is also the oldest of the turtles Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo.
