Introduction[]

Lord of the Mysteries (诡秘之主) is a western fantasy webnovel written by Cuttlefish That Loves Diving (爱潜水的乌贼) and published on Qidian. A story set in a Victorian London where steam power and machinery is on the rising tide. It follows Zhou Mingrui who finds himself reincarnated as Klein Moretti, a young history graduate. He wakes up to face a world filled with mysteries, supernatural events, Potions, Divinations, Tarot Cards, Sealed Artifacts, superhumans known as Beyonders, and also him becoming the leader of a secret organization where he's known as the "The Fool".

What are Authorities?:[]

In Lord of the Mysteries, the term "authority" is synonymous with "concepts." Each god in the series embodies and is the source of their corresponding concept or authority. The terms are used interchangeably, as demonstrated in this scan, which states that the gods are the embodiment of their respective authorities.

(L1-B 12D) Material World:

The Material World is described as possessing at least 10 spatial dimensions. Later during High Dimensional overseer and Celestial Master's fight in the 10th dimension, High Dimensional overseer was stated to ascend to the highest dimension to run away. Meaning that there should be at least 11 spatial dimensions in the Material World now. Since time exists and flows within the Material World, it inherently includes a temporal dimension. Consequently, the space-time continuum of the Material World consists of 12 dimensions in total: 11 spatial dimensions and 1 temporal dimension. (12D)

(L1-B 13D+) Spirit World:

First, the Spirit World is an omnipresent world overlapped upon the material world, which contains all higher spatial dimensions. It's inhabitants, along with astral projections, are considered higher-dimensional entities. Spirit Threads, which link the Soul Body to the Astral Projection, are said to extend infinitely, reaching the ends of the void. The Spirit world has it's own set of coordinates and is stated to be infinite in size. Additionally, all of history—past, present, and future— are stacked upon eachother within this realm. This makes each moment in the spirit world uncountably infinite more complex than any single moment on a standard time axis, as a single moment there encompasses the entirety of both the past and the future. Furthermore, with Godhood beyonders are capable of seeing multiple more angles and dimensions. Also the Spirit World is omnipresent in reality.

The Sefirah Castle is formed from all of history in the spirit world. Additionally, the Sefirah Castle also transcends and is stated to be infinitely higher / above than the Spirit World. Furthermore, Sefirah Castle is also stated to be infinite in size. Eternal Blazing Sun was able to shake Sefirah Castle.

The Painting Worlds are alternate dimensions, each functioning as a space-time continuum, which establishes them as baseline 4D structures. Additionally, these worlds contain their own Spirit Worlds, elevating them to a 5D status due to the inclusion of these realms.

Blue Avenger (Alger's Ship):

The hidden dimensions within Alger's ship are called extradimensional spaces. I think this is an extension of the mirror world, but we need more info.

Mirror World:

The Mirror world is called an alternate dimension. Also, the mirror world has a connection to the spirit world.

Underworld:

The underworld, situated within the Spirit World, is infinitely deep and contains countless worlds spiraling downwards.

Collective Subconscious/Mind World:

It could be 5D from having a connection to the Spirit World. (Also this realm is really complicated so here are the rest of the scans)

Chaos Sea:

The Chaos Sea is described as infinitely large. It not only occupies the core of the Earth but also extends beyond, merging the boundaries between illusion and reality into a deeper layer.

(1-A vsb) Universal Independent Concepts (Concept Manipulation Type 1):

Each god is both the embodiment and the source of their corresponding concepts. The Outer Deities directly represent certain aspects of the universe. Furthermore, at the level of a God, the powers of beyonders become "conceptualized." After Amon ascended to the status of a God within the Door and Error pathway, he was able influence everything related to the concepts of a door, alternate worlds, space itself and became the embodiment of all errors. Additionally, he could exert similar influence over his authority or concept of time by making time jump forward. The Mother Goddess of Depravity represents all femininity in the entire universe. When she lost her Sefirot, it impacted the birth of life and feminist powers throughout the universe. Amon's true god conceptual form includes concepts such as fate, time, doors, bugs and more. Klein is able to reassemble or combine abstract concepts and use abilities like "Grafting" which is able to directly act on concepts themselves. Other abilities include being able to cause the concept of "death" itself to dissipate, distorting the concept of distance and "fooling" concepts such as time. Moreover, it is stated that the power of the gods are on the level of concepts.

To become a True God and gain complete authority over their pathway and its associated concepts, Beyonders must accommodate a Uniqueness. As the name implies, a Uniqueness is singular, meaning that at any given time, there can only be one Uniqueness for each Pathway. These Uniquenesses are abstract items or concepts. Once a God has accommodated a Uniqueness, they can repeatedly alter its corresponding concepts and symbols.

(1-A) Astral World:

The Astral World, also known as the World of Absolute Rationality, is the highest known layer of the Lord of the Mysteries cosmology, aside from the possible existence of the original creator. This conceptual realm is even more abstract than the spirit world and It contains all concepts, objects, and symbolism in the universe. Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth was capable of shaking the entire Astral World.

(1-A) Original Creator's Transduality Type 2:

The Original Creator is an amalgamation of all contradictory concepts. Additionally, he is the maker of the cosmology, which contains concepts such as space, time, and death.

(1-A vsb) Potential R>F Transcendence for the Original Creator and Astral World:

The real world may be a dream of the Original Creator suggests the possibility of R>F transcendence for him. This extends to the Astral World, which scales similarly to the Original Creator. The Original Creator as said previously is the embodiment of all contradictory concepts, while the Astral World contains all concepts. This relationship is further reinforced by the notion that Beyonder characteristics are projections from the Astral World and originate from the Original Creator. The indestructibility and irreducibility of Beyonder characteristics further support the qualitative superiority of both the Original Creator and the Astral World. Moreover, in Klein's dream, everything and everyone exists as extensions of his thoughts, cognition, and consciousness. Similarly, the original creator's dream would function in the same manner, as both operate on the same ontological level.

Hidden Fourth Pillar:[]

The hidden fourth pillar embodies the totality of existence, representing the inevitable end of the Great Old Ones and the universe itself. It is the singularity of all space and time.

Mythical Creature Forms cannot be characterized by conventional dimensions such as length, width, and height. Humans perceive only partial images of these forms because they lack the ability to perceive and interpret higher dimensions. In Lord of the Mysteries, every human's soul is at least 4-5 dimensional. This is because each person's astral projection (layer of their soul) extends into the spirit world, while their heart and mind extend into the mind world or collective subconscious. Characters in the series often refer to their astral projection as their "higher-dimensional self." This connection to higher dimensions is also why they possess precognition; their astral projection in the spirit world can access information about both the future and the past.

POTENTIAL csap 1-A Spirit World:[]

To begin, we must establish that dimensionality and directions are intrinsically linked: dimensionality is fundamentally defined as the number of independent directions required to describe any point, position, or movement within a given space.

With that understanding, we turn to the spirit world. Unlike our material reality, the spirit world lacks the concept of directionality or distance. This absence suggests that it exists as a void, a realm of "nothingness." For such voids, two fundamental possibilities arise: either the void is extremely small, lacking any dimensions entirely (0D), or it is extraordinarily vast, existing beyond and superior to dimensionality (1-A).

Given that the spirit world can contain other entities and structures, it is unreasonable to claim it entirely lacks dimensions. Instead, it must transcend the constraints of dimensionality. Evidence supporting this view comes from scans indicating that the spirit world encompasses the entire material world, is omnipresent within it, and extends beyond it. This includes places in the spirit world like the underworld or Calderon City, which exist entirely outside the material world. Furthermore, it is described to be beyond the physical world and superior to it (see the 6D spirit world references in this cosmology for clarification).

Therefore, the spirit world surpasses dimensionality, qualifying it as 1-A.

In a WeChat Q&A, Cuttlefish confirmed that Klein (as LOTM), can enter fictional worlds like the Marvel and DC Universes or anime worlds such as One Piece. These series are considered fiction in LOTM, which makes everyone in the verse above Marvel, DC and One Piece thus 1-S. 🤣

Original Creator:[]

The Original Creator is an amalgamation of all Authorities and contradicting concepts and the maker of the universe. All Authorities, concepts, and symbolism are derived from him. Essentially, by advancing through the sequences, Beyonders obtain more of the power of the Original Creator, or in this case, more control over a specific Authority. Additionally, it is theorized that the world is only a dream of the Original Creator.

To finalize, the Original Creator created the universe and is a 1-A entity from which all authorities are derived.

Astral World:[]

The Astral World, also known as the World of Absolute Rationality, is the highest-known layer of the Lord of the Mysteries cosmology. This conceptual realm is even more abstract than the Spirit World and it contains all Authorities, objects, and symbolism in the universe. This realm shares the same ontological level as the Original Creator, as both encompass and embody all Authorities.

A weakened Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth was capable of shaking the entire Astral World. Any character that scales to this feat will inherently get a 1-A rating, as the Astral World includes Authorities, which are 1-A as explained below.

Authorities:[]

In short, Authorities are the source and essence of all things, remaining unaffected by their specific particulars. This is proven by the fact that Beyonder Characteristics cannot be destroyed, regardless of who tries as they are projections of absolute things in the Astral World—in this case, being Authorities. As mentioned previously, these Authorities are the power source of all Beyonders. Angels start gaining initial control of an Authority becoming symbols representing their Pathways and can temporarily shatter Beyonder Characteristics, while Deities go one step further and become the embodiment of the concepts of their corresponding pathways, gaining control over their respective Authority, making their powers “conceptualized.” This enables them to influence and alter the concepts tied to the Authority. Taking it a step further, Great Old Ones directly represent fundamental aspects of the universe. For example, when the Mother Goddess of Depravity lost part of her Sefirot, it affected all femininity across the universe.

To continue, these Authorities exist independently of any being embodying them. If they didn’t, the Beyonder Characteristics and Uniquenesses would vanish upon the death of their respective Deity. But that is not the case, as it has been made clear in the first part of the blog, all of them are parts of the Original Creator and projections of Authorities, which is the reason why they can never be destroyed or reduced, only be passed down. So a Deity cannot destroy or affect it’s own Authority, as that is its power source. Instead (as mentioned earlier), they can affect all concepts that are derived from that Authority.

In conclusion, when a being gets full control over their respective Authority, they can affect anything that is derived from it, including concepts, through various abilities. Such concepts include the concept of space from the Door Pathway and the concept of time from the Error Pathway. Meaning, that these Authorities have full control over the concepts of space and time, while not being affected by them, granting them a 1-A rating. This leaves the Deities/Sequence 0’s controlling them a Low 1-A rating, as they can control all concepts and things derived from such Authorities, but they cannot affect the Authority themselves. (Furthermore, because a Deity is separate from the Authority they embody, their physical body does not attain 1-A existence.) Any character who has a feat of affecting Authorities such as the Pillar "Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth", through shaking the Astral World, qualifies for a 1-A rating.
