Mario is the iconic, mustachioed main character of the Super Mario franchise, created by Shigeru Miyamoto and serving as Nintendo’s primary mascot. He debuted as “Jumpman” in the 1981 arcade game Donkey Kong and has since become a symbol of video gaming. Mario is a plumber by trade who often ventures beyond his profession to rescue Princess Peach alongside his brother Luigi from his enemy, Bowser. His adventures span various genres and have him using a variety of power-ups to overcome obstacles.
Mario has encountered foes and friends, such as Yoshi, Wario, Daisy, Rosalina, and many more. While Mario has been rescuing Princess Peach for the past 35+ years, he has also partaken in other activities. These include Kart Racing, Sports, and many more.
Mario has gone through numerous adventures, mainly saving the princess. However, it's not only saving the princess, as he had gone to a dream world known as "Subcon" to save it from the wrath of Wart, saved a different princess in Sarasaland named Daisy from the clutches of Tatanga, and went through the trouble to get his castle back from Wario.

Mario, alongside his brother Luigi and a select few are born as Star Children.), Multiversal (Able to defeat Dreamy Bowser alongside Luigi, The Dream Stone contains 100,000 universes. and Dreamy Bowser was powered by the Dream Stone.), Low Multiversal to High Multiversal+ (Able to defeat a Bowser empowered by the Power Stars, which can not only create their own worlds, but also an extra-dimensional location.)
Speed: At least Hypersonic (Able to climb vines to reach a bonus area above the clouds in seconds as explained here.), FTL (Should be able to outswim blackholes alongside the rest of the Mario Cast, Blackholes has a strong gravitational force that not even light can escape it, so it's likely to escape a blackhole, you'd have to be faster than light itself), Massively FTL+ (Can keep up with Power Stars, which can travel from the Comet Observatory to the Trial Galaxies and back in seconds), Inaccessible (Can move in tick-tock clock where time itself is completely stopped), Immeasurable (Can keep up with the Zeekeeper alongside Dreamy Luigi, which both are able to cross dimensions).

This overall scaling is a work in progress, as I'm gathering more scans from friends and whatnot. Some of these scans and scales were taken from VSBW as placeholders so these will not be permanent. Now you may see some things like Smash Mario and Paper Mario on here, why is that? Well in this interview, Miyamoto confirmed that every Mario is the same, as Eiji Aonuma also added on to that saying that the Mario's are the same "Just Like Mickey Mouse". To my knowledge: The guy asking the question was likely talking about the games of the Legend of Zelda, since the interview was about the games. Given the context: All the Mario's being the same should only apply to the games, however there are arguments for the manga being canon towards the game itself. So to make sure things don't get too confusing: I'll be focusing on every Mario game, and I will not be covering stuff like the Movie, Manga, or TV Shows. If people like this scale: I'll try doing a Composite Mario Scale and get a bunch of people like TylerOfChaos other Mario scalers to help.
Edit (1/31/2025) - Hey guys! So, I've decided to remove Smash Bros. scaling because it technically isn't a Mario game, and I don't agree with Smash Mario being the same as the one from the games even with the interview. Also, I'd like to mention that this scaling page will be slightly reworked for now, as I'd want to separate some of the feats, so it doesn't end up being too confusing.
