Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Mario is the titular protagonist of the Mario franchise. He regularly fights against the main antagonist, Bowser, with the help of his brother and trusted sidekick, Luigi, in order to save the damsel, Princess Peach.

Mario has also encountered many other friends and foes, but Bowser, Peach, Luigi and himself are the most prominent characters.

He was born to a stork, and carried to his home, when all of a sudden, Kamek had flown in and snatched up his brother and the transportive stork. Mario plummeted to the ocean below, but conveniently landed on a Yoshi on Yoshi's Island. The Yoshi set out to help Mario save his brother, the latter of which who, due to "Brotherly Telepathy," knew Luigi was in danger.

Multiverse level to possibly Multiverse level+ (Fought Bowser during the events of Mario Party 5, where he stated and showed he was going to ruin, or, destroy Dream Depot, and all dreams within it. In Dream Depot, the dreams of the multiverse's denizens are turned into entire universes. Bowser also planned on destroying Future Dream; this dream in particular was stated by Misstar AND by Mario Party 5's guide booklet on page 28 to be an entire universe, meaning each dream is its own universe. The Dream depot possibly has 7,670,250,000,000,000,000 endless cycles of infinite sets of dreams multiplying into infinite sets of Dreams), Large Star level+ (Fought and defeated Bowser, who created and tanked a black hole), Multi-Solar System level+ (the plot is that Bowser has stolen the Mini-Stars from the sky. And apparently, it seems that these Mini-Stars are actual stars in the sky. In the ending cinema, the Mini-Stars are returning to the sky--all of which Bowser said he was going to put to use. It's shown at the end, when many burst after his defeat, that he meant this as they were going to power him. By absorbing all of them, Bowser reached this level of power.)

Massively FTL+ (Fought the Millennium Star, which flew from the center of the universe to Earth in a couple of seconds.), FTL (Out speeds Bowser, who resists this black hole until he's defeated), Immeasurable (Bowser was traversing all of Dream Depot and wiping out each dream one by one--which are universes--casually, as evidenced by how he's talking about his plan and such, before destroying Dream Depot itself. Misstar then says "at this rate, he'll destroy the dream worlds one by one." She goes on to say that Mario must protect everyone's dreams. Not only does Mario fight Bowser in this game, but during the story, he's actively chasing Bowser through Dream Depot, so Mario accomplished a toned down version of this feat. Even so, he still scales to the full thing for being a touch faster than Bowser.), FTL+ (Can successfully escape a black hole. Now, while there's lightning, meteorites and enemies being pulled in, there's also red strands of light fighting against the black hole, and losing badly. This not only proves that Mario is behind the event horizon, but that he's way faster than light.), FTL (Keeps up with Bowser. Both Mario and Bowser are completely unaffected by a powerful quasar below them. Bowser is only sucked in once he's defeated.), Massively FTL+ (Fought Bowser and Bowser Junior, who kept up with the Mini-Stars. The Mini-Stars were not only able to fly out of a black hole in less than a second and effectively cross the size of a solar system, which is over 30,000x faster than light, but began returning to their placement across the universe, which is easily MFTL+.), Massively FTL+ (Out speeds Bowser, who is completely unaffected by the black hole behind them, which is pulling in entire planets in seconds from distances equating to solar systems. This would mean it's pulling in things at speeds greater than 30,000x FTL, and Bowser is acting as if this thing isn't even there.), Relativistic+ (Reacted perfectly fine while racing around Saturn's rings. Since they can race along the E Ring, the furthest ring from Saturn, equating to a distance of 3-8 Saturn radii, and since Saturn's circumference is 227,350.77715498615708106457636117 miles [using its radius and converting it to circumference], then we multiply the result by 8x to get the furthest point of the E Ring. That is 1,818,806.2172398892566485166108894 miles. Since they cover the entire thing in 14 seconds, we divide the distance by the time, and that means they were going at exactly 129,914.7298028492326177511864921 miles per second. Light moves at 186,282 miles per second, so they were moving at roughly 0.69740744084975148098c, or around 70% of the speed of light, which makes them this speed.), Sub-Relativistic+ (Capable of moving and interacting when at a distance from a large black hole. While he was definitely not behind the event horizon, light still gets bent and affected at that distance, so Mario moving at all is still around this level of speed.), Relativistic+ (Capable of dodging White Mages's specials, which are literal columns of light.)

Super genius (He is stated to have the knowledge of a physicist and is also a professional doctor. He's been compared to an archaeologist in the manual of SMB3. Most people see these things and believe this to be the zenith of Mario's intellect. In actuality, these are just minor intelligence feats and titles to just say "Mario is intelligent", and they don't pin him down to these levels. He also outsmarted archaeologists and scientists during his vacation to Pi'illo Island, solving the very mystery that left the aforementioned people scratching their heads, so we know he is smarter than just beings with those titles, so we shouldn't pin him down to that extent.)

Power-ups are lost after sustaining a deadly blow. Can act brash at times.

  • Jump: Mario's main and preferred method of attack. He jumps on his opponent and crushes him/her with sheer strength. He is incredibly skilled with this action, being able to perform various jump techniques:
    • Spin Jump: Mario spins while jumping, allowing him to jump on spiky enemies and hazards such as buzzsaws. This move can also allow Mario to hover, slowly descend, deflect projectiles, and clear fogs and smoke. Using this move with the Fire or Ice Flower with make Mario scatter fireballs or ice balls in multiple directions.
    • Drill Spin: After using a Spin Jump or spinning in the air, Mario will descend and spin much faster in a drill-like fashion with tremendous force. This attack does double damage on spiky enemies.
    • Super Jump Punch: Mario strikes the target multiple times with a punch while jumping.
    • Double Kick: Mario performs a spinning kick and quickly follows up with a long jump to kick the foe again.
    • Super Jump: Mario will jump multiple times on a single enemy at a quick rate. He can do this up to 100 times in a row.
    • Ultra Jump: This attack is not only more powerful than Super Jump, but it can attack multiple enemies at once.
    • Clone Jump: Mario will create clones of himself. He and his clones will then assault their foes with a super-strong jump.
    • Tornado Jump: Mario will jump and spin incredibly fast to create tornadoes that damage enemies.
    • Expanded Triple Jump (Unofficial name): Mario will perform the Triple Jump. The final jump makes him invincible to enemies and attacks.
    • Iron-Ball Boots: An equipment that will occasionally make large iron balls plunge into his foes after Mario jumps on them.
    • Blazing Wall Jump: Mario's special move where he can execute wall jumps without any walls.
  • Pyrokinesis: Mario can manipulate fire and perform various fire techniques without a fire flower in some games. Some of his techniques include:
    • Fireball: Mario will shoot a ball of fire from his hands. In Mario Kart: Double Dash, he can shoot up to five of them at once.
    • Firebrand: Taught by the Fire God. Mario charges fire energy in his palm and unleashes an explosive blast of flame on the enemies in close range. The fireballs from this move can be accumulated into a huge fireball for Mario to spike down on the targets, creating a powerful explosion and inflicting a burn status upon the opponents.
    • Fire Orb: Mario fires an assault of small fireballs at his target.
    • Super Flame: Mario unleashes a barrage of large powerful fireballs from his fist.
    • Ultra Flame: Mario launches enormous and large fireballs that attacks all foes onscreen. The entire surrounding glows red during the attack.
    • Fire Swing: Mario swings the weapon so fast that it catches on fire and then strikes the target with it. The target is then cloaked in fire afterward.
    • Fire Strike: Mario's Super Strike. He strikes the target with such speed and force, the receiving end will catch fire.
    • Fiery Metal Mario: Mario's Mega Strike. He jumps incredibly high in the air, turning into a fiery Metal Mario and then delivers a kick that has tremendous re-entry force.
