Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

~ Megatron to the High Guard, now the Decepticons

Summary[]

Before becoming the infamous leader of the Decepticons, D-16 was a cogless Transformer on the planet of Cybertron. Despite his menial opportunities, D-16 was by the book and respected the seniors in Cybertron. He idolised Megatronus Prime and had deep respect for the current leader Sentinel Prime. When he began mining, he met his much more chaotic, adventurous best friend Orion Pax, who D-16 often helped bail out of his riskier escapades.

He would begrudgingly accompany Orion's secret trip to the surface with B-127 and Elita-1, partly out of curiosity, as they followed a distress call left by a dead Prime, Alpha Trion. It was a trip that would change Dee forever. Alpha Trion, re-activated, showed them how Sentinel betrayed the Primes, including a beheading of Megatronus, to bargain with the Quintesssons. Worse yet, he revealed how Sentinel would remove all cogs from Cybertronians at birth to keep them subservient. D-16 and the group would all be given cogs of the deceased Primes by Alpha Trion, in order to change the world.

This revelation corrupted Dee literally overnight. His world, its leader and the protocol he stuck by: all a lie conjured for cycles on end by Sentinel Prime. His horror turned to rage, and he sought to kill Sentinel for himself. He cowed the High Guard to follow his lead with his brute strength, but him and many others were captured during an ambush by Sentinel's forces. Dee refused to kneel before Sentinel, even when tortured, and would battle with him once he was freed by Orion Pax. Weakened and outmached, he ultimately won via a sneak attack when Sentinel was distracted, but would accidentally kill his once-best friend, Orion, as the latter attempted to stop D-16 from executing the disgraced leader.

But in that moment, something deeply sinister awoke within Dee as he let Orion fall. He would rip Sentinel Prime in half, and take back Megatronus' Cog from Sentinel. As he announced an end to the age of Primes, the remnants of D-16 died and Megatron was born in his place. Megatron rallied his followers to tear down Iacon, but he would be stopped by a reborn Orion Pax, now Optimus Prime. Prime would subsequently banish his former friend from Iacon.

Vowing to return and take his revenge, Megatron would reform the High Guard into the Decepticons. He would rally them against the new enemy, calling for them to not be blinded anymore by the deception of Cybertron's leaders.

Gender: Male

Age: Under 50 Cycles (See notes)

Classification: Cybertronian, Transformer, miner | High Guard leader | Leader of the Decepticons

Powers and Abilities:

All previous powers greatly enhanced.

All abilities and powers tremendously enhanced via Megatronus Prime's Cog.

Attack Potency: Likely Building level (Knocked down Darkwing in combination with Orion Pax, a senior official in Sentinel’s regime who should compare to those like Airachnid. Dee is, however, still vastly inferior to him) | At least Building level (Comparable to, if not stronger than, Orion Pax who he knocked down. Beat down Starscream and easily earned the High Guard’s favour via sheer power.) likely Planet level (Even after being tortured D-16 could fight against Sentinel Prime, though was objectively outmatched. Severely damaged Sentinel with a surprise attack, disabling his flight, and then tore Sentinel Prime in half), far higher with Fusion Cannon (Made Starscream beg for his life. Mortally wounded Orion Pax, taking off his entire left side) | At least Planet level (Possesses Megatronus Prime’s Cog, taken from Sentinel Prime’s core, thus should be equal to him if not more powerful. Fought Optimus Prime and physically overpowered him twice, who possesses the Matrix of Leadership), far higher with Fusion Cannon (Upgraded courtesy of his new Cog, and therefore should be even stronger)

Speed: Superhuman travel speed, likely higher in combat (Based off later feats, though the extent is unknown) | Superhuman travel speed on foot, Subsonic in Alt Mode (Can transform into a tank form), likely Massively Hypersonic in combat (Scaling to Orion Pax and somewhat to Sentinel Prime) | Superhuman travel speed on foot, Subsonic in Alt Mode, Massively Hypersonic Combat speed (Fought Optimus Prime who flew from Cybertron’s core to Iacon in 40 seconds, used said flight in combat against Megatron, and caught a missile on reaction)

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Striking Strength: Likely Building level | At least Building level, likely Planet level (Scales to Orion and Alpha Trion) | At least Planet level (Could overpower Optimus Prime)

Durability: Likely Building level | At least Building level, likely Planet level (Survived a beatdown by Sentinel Prime) | At least Planet level (Equal or stronger than Optimus Prime)

Stamina: Likely Superhuman | Superhuman (The return to Iacon took a whole day, where D-16 fought Starscream, was tortured, and then fought a superior Sentinel Prime, but still managed to defeat him) | Superhuman (Should compare to Optimus Prime)

Range: Standard Melee Range | Extended Melee Range (Via sheer size), Tens of Meters with Fusion Cannon melee (Shown twice), Hundreds of Meters with weapons (Should not be far off his later feats) | Extended Melee Range, Tens of Meters with Fusion Cannon melee, Hundreds of Meters with weapons (His Fusion Cannon easily fired rounds from across Iacon to the Sentinel staues)

Standard Equipment:

  • Transformation Cog: D-16 was left without a Cog after he was born, due to Sentinel’s policy of removing those of new Transformers. Once he was rightfully given a missing Cog by Alpha Trion, it considerably amplified Dee’s stature, abilities, and strength. With his Transformation Cog, he naturally can assume an “Alt Mode”, which for Dee is a tank. Aside from increasing his travel speed, this tank comes with a powerful gun, firing energy rounds or explosive rounds, and surface scaling for steep slopes.
    • Megatronus Prime’s Cog: Having killed Sentinel Prime, D-16 took back the Cog Sentinel stole from Megatronus Prime, and used it to upgrade and refashion himself as Megatron. Megatronus’ Cog is one of the most powerful on Cybertron, allowing him to fight comfortably with Optimus Prime, who possessed the legendary Matrix of Leadership. Megatron also was given considerable upgrades to all of his weaponry, along with raw strength.
  • Jetpack: D-16 was given a jetpack by Orion, which he used to participate in the Iacon 5000.
  • Fusion Cannon: Megatron’s iconic Fusion Cannon returns in Transformers One, manifesting in a moment of violent rage. A single-barrel gun with emerges from inside his right arm, it fires terrifyingly powerful energy rounds; rounds so powerful they made a nonchalant Starscream cower, and accidentally tore off half of Orion Pax’s body. In his fight with D-16, Sentinel made a point to stop Dee’s Fusion Cannon with his foot, given it likely posed a serious threat to him.
    • Second Fusion Cannon: Courtesy of the Cog of his idol, Megatron received a massive upgrade to his Fusion Cannon. Even larger and sporting three barrels, it fires even more powerful rounds in rapid fire, capable of easily spreading bullets across an area and causing large explosions. These rounds were capable of flooring Optimus Prime.
    • Third Fusion Cannon: After his second Fusion Cannon was severed in half by Optimus Prime, Megatron was seen in the post-credits of TFO with a different look to his gun. Though, due to the dark lighting and brief appearance, it’s difficult to decipher its functionality. Nevertheless, it should be no less impressive than his second.
  • Secondary Gun: D-16/Megatron also has a gun on his left arm. This one can fire quicker bolts of energy, that he uses to overwhelm opponents up close or afar, or more precisely pick out his target.

Intelligence: Genius fighter and commander. Megatron is, simply put, a freak of nature on the battlefield. In just a single day once bestowed with a Cog, he went from a simple miner on Cybertron to one of the planet’s most terrifying combatants and leaders. He took apart Starscream, the High Guard leader who has been around since the Primes fell. His skill and power immediately earned him favour will the entire High Guard, particularly of Soundwave. Even after being tortured, he would fight remarkably well against a much stronger Sentinel Prime, who has thousands of cycles of experience and even moreso since ruling Cybertron; and yet D-16 still managed to defeat him. Once Optimus Prime arrived, a prodigy in equal right to Megatron, he more than held his own and managed to pin him down twice. It was only Prime’s manifestation of his Energon Axe that Megatron lost control of the fight. Even after his defeat and banishment, he quickly reformed the High Guard into the Decepticons and easily rallied them to his cause. Megatron is also likely a very good strategist, though he prefers to use brute force to solve his problems before he uses tactics.

Weaknesses: None notable | Prefers brute force to strategy. D-16’s guns are a part of his body, so damage to them will hurt him considerably. His Cog can be removed or destroyed, which could depower or outright kill him | As before

Note:

  • Since Transformers One is fairly fresh, any contributions are welcome!
  • “Cycles” are effectively Cybertronian years, as in cycles around Cybertron’s sun. Dee was born after Sentinel took control of Cybertron, so under 50 cycles. That said, cycles have been implied across Transformers media to be much longer than Earth years, so Dee is considerably older than just 50 years.
