Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Summary[]

Metal Sonic is recurring antagonist within the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Metal Sonic is a Badnik, created by Dr. Eggman created for the specific purpose of destroying Sonic the Hedgehog, being modelled in both Sonic's likeness and his abilities, being the first true rival of the Blue Blur and is consistently praised by Eggman as his greatest creation. It was originally deployed during Eggman's operations on Little Planet, capturing Amy Rose to get Sonic further into venturing onto the planetoid. They would have their iconic showdown on Stardust Speedway, where it confronted Sonic in a race and ultimately lost.

While usually serving as Eggman's obedient and silent enforcer, Metal Sonic is an intelligent robot with a very dark side. Cold-hearted and ruthless, he is obsessed with proving his superiority to Sonic and eliminating him for good to the point where he has rebelled against Eggman more than once to achieve his goal. Metal Sonic, is amongst the most dangerous foes Sonic has faced, requiring on several occasions for all of his friends to band together to defeat him.

Is susceptible to a combination of water and electric-based attacks as shown in his battle with Surge and Kit[127][128] as well as strong electro-magnetism leaving him susceptible to being controlled[129][130]

    Notable Attacks/Techniques:

    • Spin Attack: Metal Sonic rolls into a ball and rams nearby opponents as a concussive force or cutting disk.
    • Spin Dash: Metal Sonic rolls in place to charge up, then blasts forward at top speeds
    • Spin Jump: A variant of Spin Dash used to attack enemies mid-jump.
    • Drop Dash: Sonic stores up momentum while in mid-air and curls into a ball as he drops down to the ground, upon where he will instantly initiate a Spin Dash and rocket in the desired direction.
    • Homing Attack: While in the air, Metal Sonic performs a high-speed Spin Dash that homes in on the nearest enemy, striking them with perfect aim.
    • Jump Dash: When performing this move, Metal Sonic launches straight forward in midair with a burst of speed while usually leaving an purple or dark blue trail in his wake, before descending downwards in an arc.
    • Light Speed Attack: Metal Sonic draws in energy to charge up before rocketing off at high speeds to unleash a far faster and stronger Homing Attack. This technique automatically targets every enemy in the vicinity upon execution, allowing Metal Sonic to pull of a rapid onslaught of Homing Attacks to strike all enemies in range.
    • Somersault: Metal Sonic flips his body and attacks with his legs.
    • Boost: Upon hitting his top velocity, Metal Sonic is surrounded by an aura that distorts space and allows him to barrel through enemies without fear of reprisal.
    • Black Shield: Metal Sonic forms an octahedral energy shield around himself to block incoming attacks.
    • Ring Spark Field: Metal Sonic channels a radioactive force within him to create a harmful and nigh-impenetrable electrical field around himself. He then ejects two bursts of electricity to attack enemies.
    • V. Maximum Overdrive Attack: Metal Sonic overloads his circuitry to form a highly powerful energy field around his body before shooting himself forward at four times his original acceleration and speed.
    • Plasma Pulse Attack: Metal Sonic charges up energy in the compression chamber inside his torso before firing a powerful blue plasma laser from his chest engine
    • Emerald Dive: Metal Sonic does a small uppercut before levitating into the air and diving straight into the opponent in a similar fashion to a torpedo, all the while being in Hyper Mode.
    • Chaos Control: Metal Sonic uses Chaos Energy to control the fabric of time and space. He can use this to manipulate time by slowing or stopping it and inter-dimensional travel. The magnitude of this power depends on the amount of Chaos Emeralds Metal Sonic has with him.
    • Chaos Spear: Metal Sonic channels raw chaos energy as a form of electricity into a spear-shaped energy construct and then fires it as an energy bolt. Metal Sonic is capable of hurtling a cascade of Chaos Spears.
    • Sonic Boom: Metal Sonic launches himself forward with a burst of speed so great that it breaks the sound barrier before continuing to move at a steady pace. While active, the Sonic Boom grants Metal Sonic increased speed and invulnerability, allowing him to damage enemies and opponents with mere physical contact.
    • Copycat: Metal Sonic scans the opponent, flawlessly replicating their abilities and skills, and adding their abilities onto his skillset. This can range from the opponent's fighting skills and conventional superpowers, to abilities as complex as Space-Time Manipulation or telepathic abilities.
    • ESP: Metal Sonic unleashes a psychokinetic wave that induces vertigo in his opponents.
    • Chroma Camo: Metal Sonic is able to render his body invisible and intangible, as well as increasing his speed.
    • Bat Guard: Metal Sonic releases a swarm of artificial bats that act as a defensive barrier and projectiles. They will explode upon impacting an enemy.
    • Hammer Punch: Metal Sonic strikes the ground with enough force to trigger a large tremor throughout the area. Enemies within his radius, either in the air or on the ground, will be disoriented and stunned.
    • Knuckle Slam: Metal Sonic strikes the ground with enough force to trigger fiery shockwaves all around him.

    Pets: Also referred to as Friends, these creatures will hover closely behind their wielder that typically focus on granting benefits on several stats;

    • Experience (The amount of experience gained when defeating an opponent)
    • Rings (the amount of Rings gained per a single Ring)
    • Damage (the amount of damage dealt to bosses and powerful enemies).
    • Stamina (The amount of energy consumed when Boosting)
    • Air (The amount of time possible to spend underwater without air)
    • Luck (Non-Combat Applicable).

Up to 3-5 Pets can be equipped at a single time, stacking the benefits from each.

For a full reference of different Pets and their impact, see here.

    Trails: Trails are equippable items that range from Level 1 to Level 25 at maximum. They typically focus on increasing three statistics, but different Trails offer benefits that include other statistics. Like Pets, these include altering;

    • Experience
    • Rings
    • Damage
    • Stamina
    • Air

Unlike Pets, only one trail can be equipped at any given time.

For a full reference of Trails and their impact, see here.
