Summary[]
Ragna the Bloodedge is an SS class criminal who is targeted by the leading organization of the Earth: The Novus Orbis Librarium due to the single handed mayhem he’s caused at several of the NOL’s branches. Gravely injuring if not outright killing hundreds of soldiers and destroying several extremely complicated and essential bodies of technology and magic: the Cauldrons, that are very necessary for the cities those branches reside in to function. The purpose of Ragna wreaking such havoc, specifically on the cauldrons is to find his younger sister: Saya. As Saya was turned into and used for the basis of dozens of artificial humans known as Prime Field Devices. Which are smelted inside cauldrons.

Azure can only be permanently destroyed by something similar to itself within the BlazBlue verse. Even The Power of Order, which has the ability to make its users be capable of adapting to otherwise difficult to negate immortalities like the one that belongs to those “Deeply” outside of Logic. Whom revive indefinitely upon being killed. Not to mention such beings are neither dead nor alive to begin with. Ragna also stated to be capable of “cutting out Nu-13’s destiny and life alike” despite Nu-13 regenerating from having her history erased, and she is an individual directly created from seithr to the point she can traverse Boundary realms without any sort of damage or other negative effects such as memory loss, per the nature of her existence as a Prime Field Device. Ragna also permanently killed Yuuki Terumi with normal strikes. Another individual who could restore his past, present and future per Self-Observation. As he did this when his history across the entire multiverse was destroyed by Hakumen’s Time Killer to such an extent that even his reliant immortality that comes from Terumi being too deeply connected to the BlazBlue multiverse couldn’t restore his existence forever. Ragna also naturally has the ability to harm and kill Hades Izanami, whose invulnerable to things that can interact with seithr and Boundaries due to her being the antithesis of possible existence itself. Is insanely above Chronophantasma Platinum The Trinity, who killed Hazama in spite of his Life-Link with Noel Vermillion) Madness Inducement, Sense Removal (Magical weapons made from than less than a fraction of seithr beings like Ragna have made NOL seithr-empowered superhumans lose their senses and go mad) Gradual Transformation, Reactive Evolution, Reactive Power Level, Capacity To Nullify The Two Aformentioned Abilities, another form of Indomitable Willpower Nullification (Ragna is slowly transforming and becoming more powerful to the point of morphing into a Black Beast. Which has the ability to nullify the Power of Order’s ability to adapt to Ragna’s being. Such would also mean he has incredibly high reactive abilities himself, even when Jin's Power of Order made his power skyrocket within Central Fiction it was still incapable of adapting to the wounds dealt by Ragna's Black Beast self in the prior game. Ragna's reactivity having a "passive" element is completely consistent too, as the Embryo was incapable of even recreating Jin's will due to his nature as a Power of Order user that adapted to the Embryo. The Embryo purposefully absorbed the ontological information of the multiverse whilst enhancing its own existence to make sure that infinite iterations of individuals like Makoto Nanaya, Jubei, and Litchi Faye-Ling wouldn't reactively adapt to the Embryo’s memory manipulation across an endless of timelines. While normal humans naturally have a capacity to resist seithr in small doses, Litchi resisted the negative effects of the Azure for 2 whole years with her natural three-dimensional constitution. As a member of the Beastkin race, Jubei's three-dimensional body is naturally capable of producing beyond-dimensional power and has resistance to powers on such a scale. In fact, he’s one of the only individuals whose memory wasn’t affected by Takamagahara rewinding the multiverse during the first game. There's also one instance where Jubei even adapted to the Boundary inside the Sector Seven base that trapped Hakumen's actual body. Another Power of Order user. Which would mean Jin and Hakumen's Power of Order not only amplified their users but broke its prior limits of what could and couldn't be adapted to. The amount of times Nine has seen Ragna fight due to the looping also shouldn’t be any different) Entity/Object Absorption (Ragna can also become more powerful through absorbing things of a significant nature through his Azure Grimoire. Ragna wasn't killed by the Embryo's absorption of the seithr of the multiverse, which is impressive as he's a not a Chosen whose meant to survive The Embryo's battle royal for the right to change the world. Shouldn't have his fighting ability reduced just because of a phenomenon like Doomsday)
Attack Potency: Extraverse Level (Eventually became as strong as a full power Shin Takehaya Susano’o no Mikoto in chapter 98 of BlazBlue Central Fiction. As Ragna held his ground against Jin Kisaragi, who fought on even terms against Shin Susano’o. And Ragna will become far stronger and stronger until he becomes another Black Beast that's a threat to every warrior and god across all of existence, potentially even rivaling Azrael at his full power. Far Higher into Extraverse Level via The Book of Blue Blaze (Ragna has the capacity to utilize the Book of Blue Blaze a.k.a Azure Flame Grimoire. The Book of Blue Blaze is the complete Azure and the ineffable, immanent and absolute consciousness of the BlazBlue franchise. Phenomena like Ragna himself, unique Azure beings like Naoto Kurogane, and existential counters to Azure beings like Hades Izanami are nothing more than infinitesimal “thoughts” that only ever were because of the “supreme brain” that is the reason said “thoughts” were conceived a conceptual level. Every possible outcome within the BlazBlue Cosmology, including things like the Central Fiction scenario, are equally as small in the face of the Book of Blue Blaze. Being nothing more than one out of the endless scenarios that could happen or be restarted indefinitely. So something like how Ragna went from weaker than a normal human, from 1-S within a single lifetime like in the Central Fiction scenario, Ragna could become the equivalent of the same 1-S to his prior “baseline” 1-S self , become something even higher in equivalent to that 1-S self, and so-on to what is essentially an endless hierarchical stack of transcendences being “squared” off one another. As the difference between the “fiction” of something with dimensions and “the truth” of something beyond such a concept is nothing to the Book of Blue Blaze. And this logically endless hierarchy of Ragnas are incapable of wielding the Book of Blue Blaze unless they have the Book’s exact permission and “omnipotence”)
