Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

How this wiki works

Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: This wiki is not meant to in any way rip off VS Battles or other powerscaling sites/wikis.

VS Battles is a different sort of wiki. It indexes stats and skills of fictional characters as an organization rather than as individuals. See VS Battles Wiki for more info about the subject.

The point though, is that not everyone agrees with their interpretations. The community in question may refuse their Upgrade, Downgrade or Addition/Removal attempt(s), regardless of their validity. But what if other people really want to spread their opinion? That's where this wiki comes in. Here, everyone can create and edit their own profiles how they see fit, provided that the profiles do not break any of our rules.

Page Types

Fanon profiles and profiles that don't yet exist on such sites - or never will - are also welcome here, with exception to topics that are listed on our blacklist.

Each character page is mainly distinguished between two types: "<character name> (Canon)" and "<character name> (Fanon)". Canon is for the mainline and/or official version(s) of the character(s), whereas fanon is for your own ideas, versions or interpretations. Fanfictions can also be listed as official if it's treated as a seperate continuity apart from the work it was based on, that is dependent on how you interpret it. Joke profiles are expected to be built under this template, this kind of page fits for the third type: "<character name> (Joke)".

Content Guide

To make your own profile for a character, title the page such that it looks like this: "<Character Name> (Canon)/<Your Username>" or "<Character Name> (Fanon)/<Your Username>"

Pages for characters that do not include usernames in the link are intended to be disambiguation pages, to aid users in searching through different interpretations of the same character.

IMPORTANT: You are obligated to add your profiles to the disambiguation pages and include your username as a category on your page.

Rules

1: No flaming, trolling, cyber-mobbing or digital bullying. Based on the severity of the violation, a warning or immediate week-long block can be issued. However, in the case of repeated offenses, punishment will be as we see fit.

1.1: ⁤Do not use derogatory terms, insults, or any language that is not meant as constructive substance on a page. ⁤⁤Terms like "fanboy" and "wanker," as well as any general insults or messages lacking merit, are frowned upon and are likely to be deleted. ⁤⁤These do not contribute to meaningful discussions and aren't meant on pages, unconstructive comments have more grounding in forum threads, though this is not to say flaming is allowed on threads. ⁤⁤Continuous violations will result in warnings, followed by a ban of varying lengths depending on the severity and frequency of these messages.

1.2: Slurs and invidious discrimination will not be tolerated. We don't want certain deviant groups here like racists, sexists, pedophiles, etc. First offenders will receive an immediate month-long block. A second offence depending on the context the language was used in, will either result in five months or a permanent ban. Such context for the lesser harsh block being if the language was used in a non-harmful way, akin to how the n-word is used among black people. A third offence; a full year. Fourth offence; a permanent ban.

Examples of intolerable behavior:

  • Use of racial slurs (Examples are disallowed by FANDOM's Policies)
  • Sexism
  • Racism
  • Other types of discrimination
  • etc...

2: Do not edit other people's pages without permission. On this wiki, you have the right to make your own page, even for characters that already have pages, so do not ruin another user's work, even if you think it's for the better. Don't edit other's pages without consent, no matter what. You can collaborate on a profile, in which case those who collaborated are welcome to edit it, but permission must be provided first and foremost. To "fix" a page because you disagree with its stance is heavily frowned upon and will be met with punishment as we see fit. Furthermore, deliberate pure vandalism is absolutely prohibited, and users engaging in such activities will be punished as we see fit, with that likely being a permanent ban. It should be noted, however, that minor non-intrusive edits (such as correcting typos or other grammatical issues) that do not impact the page's arguments or intended presentation and meaning are allowed.

3: Sexual harassment and sexual themes are not allowed here. Pornography will be deleted upon discovery. Violations will result in a permanent ban.

4: Do not blackmail. Any form of blackmail will be dealt with immediately, the punishment being as we see fit, with that likely being a permanent ban.

5: Do not post nonsense on forum threads that have clear purpose. Don't post nonsense on forum threads like Scaling Questions and VS Threads. As mentioned before don't post nonsense on other people's pages either. Upon violation a warning will be issued, upon further violation a three day block, beyond the two strikes will result in punishment as we see fit, with that ranging from month long blocks to permanent bans.

6: English is the only language allowed on pages. Only English is permitted on pages. The use of other languages is prohibited, as this forum caters to English-speaking users. Latin abbreviations and expressions still commonly used in English like ''e.g.'', ''i.e.'', ''Ad infinitum'', ''Ex nihilo'', etc., are still permissible. Additionally, refrain from utilizing special characters not found on a standard, unmodified computer keyboard.

7: Alternate accounts will not result in punishment, and are acceptable. If used to avoid warnings, blocks and bans, you'll receive a permanent ban on your alternate account.

8: Cursing/Cussing is allowed. However, utilize it with some control. Don't go overboard, full-caps, rage mode with curse words in every sentence. That will get an immediate warning ensuing the violation. Continuation of such behavior will result in punishment as we see fit.

9: Soliciting suicide, even when done ironically, is not allowed. Violators will be immediately punished as we see fit, with that likely being a permanent ban.

10: No blacklisted profiles. Blacklisted topics here are: Real-life people scaling. Religious scaling. Eighteen-plus media. Highly controversial media. Religious scaling create controversy and hostility between people. This applies towards major religions such as Christianity or Hinduism, as well as more obscure religions like Sikhism. As long as there is a consensus that the religion in question is not dead, do not make scaling about it. This does not apply to media that are inspired by religion or religious elements, as they aren't part of the actual religion. For more clarification on blacklisted topics, check out the blacklist page.

11: Copying/Plagiarism is not allowed. Copies of other wikis' content or other users' content are not allowed. This goes for copies that aren't identical as well, i.e. copies that are largely the same as the source it was taken from, but have some distinctions. If a page is caught copying, the user responsible will be required to adjust their content properly in a separated place, like a blog, as the page will be taken down. If no adjustment occurs the content will stay deleted. This rule applies broadly to any external content. That being said, copying format structures is allowed, as we do not consider layouts themselves to be original content.

12: Avoid creating political discussions or content. We don't want politics here. Breaking this rule will result in a one-day mute for the first offense, a three-day mute for the second, a week-long mute for the third, and a ban for the fourth.

13: Staff members' words are final. If a staff member tells you to stop doing something, you must comply. Failure to do so will result in punishment as we see fit.

14: Be cautious as new users and accounts, our rules and judgement will be stricter for newcomers to ensure that troublemakers do not cause disruption. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our community guidelines and participate respectfully. We value a positive and constructive environment, and your cooperation is essential in maintaining that. This wiki is designed for users aged thirteen and older. We prioritize the safety and protection of our users, and we're committed to taking action against threats to them.

Summary of Content and Page Type Guide:

  • THE ONLY CORRECT TITLE FORMATTING: Character Name (Canon/Fanon)/Your Username. You may optionally include a comma to add in the origin's name, or to include the term Composite, e.g. Character Name (Canon/Fanon, Composite, Origin's Name)/Your Username.
  • Fanon is reserved solely for your own original fiction that isn't accessible to the public. It is not meant for existant fan works, like fangames. As soon as what you're describing actually exists on the Internet or elsewhere, it's canon to itself regardless of whether it's official, licensed or fan-made, since it actually exists and isn't inaccessible to the public.
  • If your character is Composite, you must mark them as such. The same goes for alternate continuity variants of a character. e. g. Sonic the Hedgehog (Canon, Archie Comics)/Your Username, or Son Goku (Canon, Composite)/Your Username.
  • Profiles of non-character content, such as the verse itself, specific weapons, worlds, dimensions, etc., are permissible. Additionally, profiles of groups are allowed as well. The format for verses specifically would be: Verse Name (Canon/Fanon, Verse)/Your Username. If it's composite, it needs to be added in the same formatting as for character pages.
  • If you're in the process on making a page, and isn't finished with it. You need to use the template ''Work In Progress'', by pasting {{Work In Progress}} in Source Mode. If you're mainly done with a page, but knows it's open for updates, you need to use the template ''Gets Updates'', by pasting {{Gets Updates}} in Source Mode. For more templates that you can potentially use, explore the category page for templates.
