Ryu Hayabusa is the protagonist of Ninja Gaiden he also makes appearances in the Dead or Alive series. He is a dedicated ninja of the Hayabusa clan a clan which shaped history in troubled times from behind the scenes since the Sengoku period who are warriors descended from the Dragon Lineage bloodline. He is given the title of The Ultimate Ninja due to his skill and efficiency as a ninja.

However, he cannot heal all his wounds and need to rest in order to happen), Teleportation (Can teleport short distances via Blink), Weapon Mastery (Is a master swordfighter and archer.
