She alongside Carol, Milla, and Torque go on a journey to stop Lord Brevon from stealing the powerful Kingdom Stone to take over the world. After Brevon's defeat, the Kingdom Stone shatters, a blessing, but also a curse, since it also released Merga, the only other known water dragon, from her prison, letting her get revenge on those who wronged her.
Powers and Stats[]
Tier: 4-B
Name: Sash Lilac, "Lilac the Water Dragon"
Origin: Freedom Planet
Gender: Female
Age: 15 (Pre-Timeskip), 18 (Post-Timeskip)
Classification: Avalician, Water dragon, Leader of Team Lilac
Powers and Abilities:
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Enhanced Swimming (Able to feet-pedal almost as fast as her usual speed on land and perform abilities when underwater. Able to run on the ground underwater almost as well as she can outside of water)
- Free Movement (If Lilac is running fast enough, she can run on water. Something that she can sustain for an extended period of time. Lilac can maneuver in and climb in cooled magma.
- Surface Scaling (If meeting any type of sloped surface, she can effectively run, to even simply walk on the side of walls, and on ceilings with little effort as if she was walking on flat ground)
- Afterimage Creation (Via Blink Dash, which generates an afterimage of herself)
- Accelerated Development (Training and Battle; Team Lilac during the timeskip between Freedom Planet and Freedom Planet 2 were training the whole time, which made Lilac physically stronger in Freedom Planet 2, and no longer uses up her Energy Meter when using Dragon Cyclone. In Freedom Planet, Lilac was unable to breathe in space, but in Freedom Planet 2, she was capable of doing just that. Fought Askal on equal footing who was inferior to Merga and worked for her, and Lilac herself loses against Merga even with her team. But by the time Lilac fought Merga in the final battle, Lilac was able to be even with Merga in terms of power, and became massively faster in speed overall compared to her previous feats. Initially gets blitzed by the Bakunawa Fusion in an unavoidable attack, but within the course of a stage, was able to dodge this previously unavoidable attack)
- Limited BFR (Lilac's Dragon Boost matched Merga's in power. Merga's Dragon Boost in question was able to directly BFR Serpentine, sending him away from where she was to a point where Serpentine couldn't continue his plan, and Serpentine was not seen later before presumably sneaking onto Mayor Zao's ship)
- Martial Arts (Can perform a bicycle kick. Is so skilled at hand-to-hand combat she's won multiple martial arts tournaments. Fought Merga, who according to Cordelia in Time Capsule messages, was a very skilled and powerful warlord who leaded armies and fought in a war involving water dragons. And when Lilac fought her, Merga had various powers and abilities that superseded Lilac's own. Merga was also stated to be a bigger threat to Avalice than Lord Brevon was according to The Magister, and Brevon was able to take over and defeat hundreds of inhabited planets. And despite that, Lilac was able to beat her through outskilling her)
- Acrobatics (Can perform a Dive Kick which lets her land faster to the ground. Able to jump considerably high and platform around areas. Lilac can fight enemies very well and defeat them even while falling down a corridor. Can dodge Danmaku attacks)
- Restricted Flight (Able to instantly propel herself considerably high into the air with Dragon Boost, and she gains wings to amplify this with Super Dragon Boost. Can hover higher into the air with Dragon Cyclone)
- Shockwave Creation (Lilac can generate a damaging shockwave when using Boost Breaker to forcefully cancel her Dragon Boosts before they end normally)
- Attack Nullification (Lilac is able to use her own physical strikes to nullify the attack and the damage Merga's Lillith attacks do to her, taking zero damage unless she gets hit by the attacks normally)
- Fourth Wall Awareness (Acknowledges the player and even threatens them. Lilac knows she is in a video game developed by Galaxytrail, which is backed up by the existence of NPCs who acknowledge the game being developed by Galaxytrail as well as thanking the player for playing the game, Carol making a joke for the audience, and Syntax being able to change the pause menu to tell the player that they cannot hide from her by pausing. Lilac can visibly react to the player's inputs, and additionally mentions that she needs to continue the plot when "Bloopers" are activated on the Wii U version of Freedom Planet)
- Time Stop (Photo Mode, selectable in the pause menu, is able to stop time to take a picture that is saved to the game. Lilac can be seen looking at the camera, clearly aware of Photo Mode being utilized. Note that some of the poses in Photo Mode are completely exclusive to Photo Mode, where Lilac is posing for a selfie, implying she is making poses for the player)
- Resurrection (Mid-Low: Through Extra Lives, known canonically as "Stocks". These are canonical to the world of Freedom Planet due to the existence of potions that provide or make gaining stocks easier, Potions that only work upon reviving, and abilities like the Payback Ring that only work as intended if Stocks were a canonical and real thing in the game. Characters can use Revivals by using one of their Stocks to instantly resurrect themselves in the middle of a fight. Characters cannot use Revivals after having their body "disintegrated")
- Stealth Mastery (Lilac is able to enter the core of the Bakunawa as the Bakunawa was taken over by Syntax, and avoid Syntax's gaze, which if she doesn't, will end up having her die. Lilac can theoretically beat Weapon's Core without being spotted once. After defeating a giant robot while in a mech, she was able to escape out of the mech she was controlling and sneak away with Syntax without Aaa spotting them)
- Hair Manipulation (Able to stretch and stiffen her hair at will. Can use her hair to utilize Hair Whip. Can user her hair to perform a hovering, spin attack named Dragon Cyclone. Can perform an uppercut with her hair named Rising Slash. Her Crouch Attack utilizes her hair tendrils)
- Invulnerability (Dragon Boost briefly makes Lilac invulnerable. Note that Invulnerability doesn't protect Lilac from drowning, compression, or falling down a bottomless pit. Can Guard, and Guarding also makes Lilac invulnerable to damage for a second. When invulnerable, Lilac can seemingly phase through projectiles)
- Self-Sustenance (Type 1; Although in the first Freedom Planet, Lilac needed air in outer space, in Freedom Planet 2, Lilac inexplicably gains the ability to breathe and survive in outer space without any equipment)
- Dimensional Storage (Lilac is capable of carrying thousands of crystals and use them to purchase items, multiple keycards, and tons of items without ever having a visible form of storage on her. Lilac in a cutscene can be seen peering in her inventory before pulling out an item)
- Non-Physical Interaction (Lilac is able to sit on top of and damage the Holodragon, which is a hologram that is intangible and attacks thrown at it will simply pass through and do no damage normally. Capable of attacking and defeating Lemon Bread, a boss made up of several Tiks. The would-be description of Tiks states that they are are dark spirits that possess robots, and in-game are shown to be intangible and fly through walls)
- Rage Power (When angry, Lilac's Dragon Boost became Supercharged enough to break down the entire Dreadnought)
- Limited Time Manipulation (When Lilac is defeated and has to use a Stock to respawn, in-universe, time seemingly resets to her last save point, and Lilac retains the memories of what happened, which is what is called the Seventh Sense. This is a phenomenon that even an infinite amount of Lilac's past selves can learn from. This means Lilac's respawning isn't resurrection, and instead just time going back to before she is killed. This is supported by Lilac using Stocks to reset back time to before she's killed even after being disintegrated, despite being disintegrated preventing normal revivals)
- Telekinesis (Lilac is able to telekinetically lift up items she takes out of her inventory akin to a video game character, which she shows off during a cutscene)
- Energy Manipulation (The Energizer Sphere allows Lilac to fire ring-based projectiles, and lets her increase her Energy Meter faster with it)
- Limited Light Manipulation (Fish Keys generate a blue glow which Lilac uses to see in dark spaces. Fish Keys also additionally follow Lilac around without her having to carry them)
- Plant Manipulation (Fish Keys can seemingly "possess" plants and crush them to the floor and cause their seeds to instantly sprout, and can also undo and redo this process however many times it wants)
- Forcefield Creation (Via the elemental Shield Crystals and Guardian Orbs, which protect Lilac from damage even if it isn't the assigned element. Multiple Guardian Orbs can stack the durability, but only one elemental protection can be applied at once)
- Limited Transmutation (Crystals to Petals transform crystal flowers into life petals and life crystals. Charms make different elemental shields turn into other types of shields. Items To Bombs makes all item containers turn into mere explosive bombs. No Petals turns life petals into crystal shards)
- Healing (Mid-Low; Life petals (utilized in a bath here) were able to remove the grayed electric scar patches and regenerate her cut off hair tendrils back, which were roughly cut and covered in blood. Lilac's electric grayed out burn scars come from being hit by huge amounts of electricity. Wood Shield Crystals and Wood Orbs turn every 20 crystal shard into 1 life petal. Healing Strike Potion makes Lilac's attacks absorb life from enemies to heal)
- Life Absorption (Healing Strike makes Lilac's attack absorb the life from enemies, so that Lilac gains the life-healing for herself)
- Water Manipulation (The Element Burst item allows her to deal lingering water damage to enemies)
- Summoning (Can summon Guardian Orbs which can protect her from various forms of damage and hazards and give her bonus abilities)
- Limited Magnetism Manipulation (Wood Shield Crystals and Wood Orbs make life petals attract to Lilac. Earth Shield Crystals and Earth Orbs make generally any crystal attract to Lilac)
- Self-Sustenance (Type 1; Via Water Shield Crystals and Water Orbs, which give infinite air underwater, and when in areas without oxygen like in Dreadnought)
- Invulnerability (Petal Armor gives Lilac seconds of invincibility when hit without a shield. Rainbow Invincibility Crystals grant Lilac 30 seconds of invincibility)
- Darkness Manipulation
- Statistics Amplification
- Maximum Health Amplification (Max Life Up makes Lilac's health increase by 1 life petal (20% boost))
- Damage Amplification (Deals more damage if she has no extra lives left with the Payback Ring. Attack Up Potions make Lilac deal up to 20% more damage)
- Speed Amplification (Accelerator Potions make Lilac up to 25% faster)
- Forcefield Amplification (Strong Shields Potion makes shields be able to withstand far more attacks)
- Jumping Amplification (Super Feather Potion makes Lilac's jumps make her go much higher)
- Statistics Reduction (Brave Stones make those equipped with them have a debuff of some kind. They are stated to be artifacts and are implied to be dangerous to other characters. While Lilac in the game only uses these on herself, she should be able to give them to an opponent so that they suffer the effects. Note that Lilac isn't automatically affected by Brave Stones when she has them in her inventory)
- Damage Taken Increase (Double Damage makes the owner take double the damage taken from all sources)
- Invulnerability Negation (No Guarding makes guarding not make the user prevent any damage)
- Life Oscillation (Life Oscillation makes the user's health randomly change from being at full, to being completely emptied out to 1 health)
- Resurrection Negation (No Stocks makes the user have zero extra lives. No Revivals makes the user unable to resurrect themselves upon death)
- One Hit Kill Inducement (One Hit KO makes the user instantly die to anything that damages them)
- Inorganic Physiology (Type 2; Is a robot)
- Large Size (Type 0)

- Duplication (Pangu can create a physical hologram of a target who she can then make fight against them, who will also have the exact same powers and moveset as them)
- Intangibility (The Holodragon is intangible and attacks thrown at it will simply pass through and do no damage. The only way to lose in the stage is if Lilac on top of Holodragon takes damage)
- Matter Manipulation (Lilac is able to survive a blast from the Bakunawa's Lunar Cannon, which is constantly referred to being able to eat moons, which results in atomizing them)
- Air Manipulation (Lilac can resist and counteract severe air drag)
- Water Manipulation (Via Water Shield Crystals and Water Orbs)
- Poison Manipulation (Via Wood Shield Crystals and Wood Orbs)
- Plant Manipulation (Wood protection also protects from plants according to the lore bible)
- Fire Manipulation (Via Fire Shield Crystals and Fire Orbs)
- Heat Manipulation (Lilac can withstand hot temperatures while inside of a volcano which is hot enough to generate fire particles around her, and it takes a considerable amount of time for the heat to deal damage to her. Lilac can maneuver in and climb in cooled magma with zero harm. Withstood being inside of an active volcano. Lilac can withstand air drag that would generate immense heat. Lilac can withstand being next to electric bars which before turning on, are hot enough to generate steam from Lilac's body. Via Fire Shield Crystals and Fire Orbs)

Although in-game this costs a life, we see Neera get frozen in the exact same way, while being present in future cutscenes, implying such a cold attack isn't enough to kill them, but its ice encasement is enough to incapacitate them. The lore bible confirms this by stating Neera uses ice weapons due to their nonlethality)
- Ice Manipulation (Lilac can get hit in the face by an ice missile that can instantly freeze others in blocks of ice in one blast. Also granted by Earth Shield Crystals and Orbs according to the lore bible of the series)

- Energy Manipulation (Fire protection also protects from energy beams. Wood protection also protects from energy trails)
- Biological Manipulation (Water protection also protects attacks from the DNA Cannon, which fires DNA blasts at targets)
- Electricity Manipulation (Lilac can withstand absorbing several electric currents which have enough energy each to open a steel door. Via Metal Shield Crystals and Metal Orbs. Water protection also protects from electric orbs and sparks)
- Transmutation (Lilac can respawn even after being blasted into mere pieces, which are actually leaf-shaped flower petals in the same color as her hair, meaning even if Lilac is destroyed and all that is remained of her are petals/some other object, as long as said thing is part of Lilac's "being", she'll be able to come back)
- Blood Manipulation (Lilac can withstand g-forces that are 101877x more than the amount required to kill a human. G-forces kill by severely disrupting the blood flow in the body)
- Limited Sleep Manipulation (Lilac was able to stay conscious after being blasted by a device that should have rendered her unconscious instantly. However Lilac was still paralyzed and tired from it)
- Radiation Manipulation (Lilac can withstand being in outer space with her usual clothes. Outer space has enough ionizing radiation to be equivalent to the amount taken from hundreds to thousands of chest x-rays)
- Light Manipulation (Lilac can withstand getting blasted by the Bakunawa's Lunar Cannon, which is incredibly bright, and is able to make the entire Moon generate a huge glow visible from Earth when hit by it. And Lilac's vision stays the same afterwards)
- Limited Sealing (Type 1; Playable characters in Freedom Planet 2 can escape out of physical sealing, however, sealing that physically overpowers them will be inescapable for them)
Attack Potency: Solar System level (Able to defeat Merga who, with a pair of wings, allowed her to move the Sun to generate a Blood Moon in outer space indirectly when simply transforming. Able to directly harm enemies who are strong enough to harm Lilac herself. See the Durability section), Higher with Potions (Attack Up makes Lilac deal up to 20% more damage)
Speed: FTL+ travel speed (62.4c; Shown to directly move at the same speed as Merga's dash attack when using Eclipse wings, and is able to react to Merga doing this attack. Comparable to Askal and can fight against him on equal footing. Travels in-tandem with electric currents travelling through copper wires. Lilac can move in tandem with a laser that transmits through a crystal and then gets absorbed. Comparable to Askal's attacking speeds. Can outrun Battering Ram Saucers, which move much faster than the Holodragon, which can travel so fast that the starry night sky's stars travel across the sky at a high speed), Higher travel speed with Speed Potions (78c; Speed Potions can boost Lilac's travel speed on the ground by up to 25%, and can attack enemies with attacks similar to this speed), Massively FTL+ combat and reaction speed (1042c; Was able to perceive Merga's dash attacks with the Eclipse wings as incredibly slow to her perspective, as well as do the same with the Bakunawa Fusion's dash attack. Can use attacks that travel fast enough to hit other characters who also perform this feat as well, like Carol, Neera or Milla. Can throw out and parry attacks that travel faster than an electric current through wire. Fights and dodges attacks from Lord Brevon, who pilots vehicles capable of interplanetary travel across hundreds of planets)
Lifting Strength: Class T (Comparable to Carol who can toss gigantic boulders at an airship. Characters can withstand a crushing force from a giant mech that is this strong. Can counteract and go against an air drag that requires this much work to do so. Lilac can resist the magnetic pull of a magnet that can lift up a large amount of steel. Lilac is strong enough to push a large bronze crate against a floor and a ceiling. Lilac is strong enough to push a carved cubic stone that is the size of her. She can also push a large topaz gem as big as her. Can push a giant cube-shaped plant seed. Comparable to Carol Tea, who can lift herself and her entire motorcycle when hanging on a pole)
Striking Strength: Solar System level (Her feats apply to her physically)
Durability: Solar System level (Can survive hits from Merga's Blood Moon wing form, who's mere transformation caused the Sun to align with the Moon to generate a Blood Moon which is this powerful. Lilac is able to survive several blasts from the Bakunawa's Lunar Cannon, which is constantly referred to being able to eat moons, which results in atomizing them, and turning their matter, or mass into energy, and is even capable of potentially cracking planets. The laser takes 16 seconds to do this roughly. This means the output from 1 second of the laser is this much energy due to mass-to-energy. Additionally can survive the breath-beams from Syntax's Bakunawa fusion form which should work the same way), Stocks resetting time back makes Lilac nearly impossible to kill
Stamina: Superhuman (Shown to be able to run around, fight, swim. and get damaged all the time without any signs of fatigue. Can hold her breath for several minutes due to being a water dragon. Is apparently likely resistant to waterboarding. Able to fight bosses with multiple stages such as Brevon or Merga, and maintain peak performance during the fight before it ends)
Range: Standard Melee Range, Extended Melee Range with Hair Whip, Several Meters with Dragon Stars and Energizer Spheres, Kilometers throwing range (Comparable to Carol Tea, who can throw giant boulders over 500 kilometers away)
Standard Equipment: Various Power-Ups, Potions, Crystal Shards, Brave Stones, Boosters, Charms
- Optional Equipment: Pangu/The Holodragon (Lilac gains access to Pangu in the Schmup Stage and Galactic Rumble Battlesphere challenge)
Intelligence: Gifted, likely Genius in combat (Can perform a bicycle kick. And despite that, Lilac was able to beat her through outskilling her. Was able to comprehend and explain Torque's techno-babble and simplify it to her friends. Able to deceive the Magister, someone who has a great deal of authority and makes the laws in Shang Tu)
Weaknesses: Has an Energy Meter that deduces how much she can utilize Dragon Boost before needing to recharge for a moment. Is deaf due to a genetic defect, and utilizes blue hearing aids to circumvent this. Fire Shield gets cancelled upon Lilac getting submerged in water. Once admitted to being incapable of driving vehicles well.
