Summary[]
Shadow the Hedgehog was created by Professor Gerald Robotnik with the DNA of the Black Arms with his purpose being to provide genes that would help cure the deathly ill, such as Gerald's granddaughter Maria who Shadow was close friends with.
One day, the Military unit G.U.N. assault the place where Shadow was being kept and they fatally injured Maria, however, she shot Shadow out of a capsule and into safety.
