Summary[]
Shovel Knight is the main protagonist of the eponymous game. He was once a freelance adventurer alongside his partner and love interest, Shield Knight. The two would go on many adventures together, until one quest lead them to the dreaded Tower of Fate. Inside the tower, Shield Knight did battle with a thief named Donovan, resulting in the Tower collapsing. Presuming Shield Knight to be dead, Shovel Knight gave up his life of adventuring, until one day the Tower resurfaced under the rule of the Enchantress and the Order of No Quarter. Gaining newfound faith that Shield Knight was still alive, Shovel Knight set off to take on the Enchantress and her Order.
