Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Summary[]

Spyro The Dragon is a rare purple dragon and a major character in the Skylanders series, as well as the titular and main character of Skylanders: Syro's Adventure. Spyro hails from a rare line of magical purple dragons that come from a faraway land few have ever

traveled. It's been said that the Scrolls of the Ancients mention Spyro prominently, with the old Portal Masters having chronicled his many exciting adventures and heroic deeds. Finally, it was Master Eon himself who reached out to Spyro and invited him to join the Skylanders. Now calling Skylands his home, Spyro

remains one of it's most valued protectors, with evil facing a new enemy -- and the Skylanders gaining a valued ally.

General Information, Powers, Abilities, and Statistics[]

Tier: At least High 1-C, Possibly High 1-B

Name: Spyro

Origin: Skylanders (Games)

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown (Although likely an adult)

Classification: Skylander, Member of Eon's Elite, Magic Element, Rare Purple Dragon

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Flight, Magic, Transformation (Can transform into both his Legendary and Dark Forms), Natural Weaponry (Tail and Wings), Status (Can induce, remove, resist, and decrease the accuracy of Status Effects), Fire, Electricity, and Darkness Manipulation and Breath, Statistics Amplification and Reduction (Via Status Effects), Damage Transferal (Via the DMG SHARE and Deflect DMG status effects), Explosion Inducement (Spyro's fireballs can be explosive), Mind Control and Corruption Negation (Along with numerous other dragons, Spyro reversed the mind-controlling powers of the Brain, who mind-controlled all of the non-dragon Skylanders. By using violence, Skylanders can reverse the effects of the Evilizer, which turns anyone it hits into evil versions of themselves, and Spyro himself freed Cynder from Malefor's corruption after he defeated her), Self Empowerment (Able to strengthen himself with his own attacks), Resistance to Illusion and Fear Manipulation (Broke free from the hallucinations of the Fungus Rings of Despair, which traps their victims in hallucinations of their worst fears), Status Effect Inducement (Via Effect RES Up and Mystery Status Effects), and Transmutation (Skylanders resist the abilities of the Golden Queen, who can instantly turn her victims into gold) and Immunity to Mind Control (All Dragons are immune to the mind-controlling powers of Brain due to their magical energy)

Attack Potency: At Least High Complex Multiverse Level (Comparable to Crash Bandicoot, who was such a threat to the Evil Twins that they retreated from him, and used the Deathbot, a giant robot (Which should be far superior to the twins themselves), against him, Cortex and Nina to fight them. They then retreated in fear when Crash used Mecha Bandicoot against them to ultimately defeat the Deathbot, with the Mecha Bandicoot being a robot that Crash defeated way earlier in the game. The Evil Twins were mutated by and attained their powers from the 10th Dimension, turning them into somewhat 10th Dimensional abstracts), Possibly High Hyperverse Level (The Evil Twins defeated Aku Aku and Uka Uka while presenting the fact that they couldn't beat them due to them being the masters of the infinite dimensions, with power over reality itself)

Destructive Capacity: Wall Level

Speed: Immeasurable (Comparable to Crash Bandicoot, who kept up with N. Tropy, who can traverse space-time, and N. Trance, who is a 5th-dimensional being and is capable of flying to different points in time. While these could easily be space and time travel hax feats, and not actually speed feats, 5th dimensional beings in general tend to be transcendent of a regular space-time continuum's laws)

Lifting Strength: Class 25 (All Skylanders are capable of pushing large blocks of stone)

Striking Strength: At Least High Complex Multiversal, Possibly High Hyperversal

Durability: At Least High Complex Multiverse Level, Possibly High Hyperverse Level

Stamina: High

Range: Standard Melee Range, Higher with Fire/Electricity Breath

Intelligence: Gifted (Has a photographic memory, and as a result, has encyclopedic knowledge of all the islands and creatures in Skylands he has encountered, more so than any other Skylander, this includes Drobot, who has been said to closely examine all of his surroundings. Spyro is also an extremely quick learner, able to master new abilities in a matter of hours)

Weaknesses: Spyro is somewhat cocky and impulsive

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Dragon's Fire: Spyro breathes balls of fire from his mouth, at his enemies, incinerating them. In the old version of Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, this attack has an 80% chance to grant Spyro the DEF UP status effect, which temporarily increase his Defense by 40%. The effect lasts for 2 turns. In the new version, it has a 40% chance to inflict the Accuracy DOWN 10% Status Effect, which lowers the enemy's Accuracy by 10%, when it hits. The effect lasts for 2 turns. This attack is also able to inflict the Knockdown Status Effect, which prevents the character from using Skills or evading when their Endurance is at 0, and when it's removed, the character regains movement and full Endurance.
    • Shadow Dragon's Fire: The Dark version of Spyro's Dragon's Fire used by his dark form, Dark Spyro. Dark Spyro breathes purple balls of fire from his mouth at his enemies, incinerating them. In the old version of Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, this attack inflicts the Effect ACC DOWN status effect on the opponent it hits, which decreases the enemy's Effect Accuracy rate by 40%. The effect lasts for 3 turns. In the new version, this attack has a 45% chance to inflict the Explosion Status Effect on the opponent it hits, which causes an explosion to occur after a certain time period has passed, dealing damage to the opponent equal to Dark Spyro's attack. This effect lasts for 3 turns.
    • Long Range Raze: Enhancing his lung capacity, Spyro shoots fireballs that travel much farther than before.
    • Triple Flameballs: Spyro shoots 3 fireballs at a time instead of just 1. In Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, this attack has an 80% chance to grant Spyro and his allies the DEF UP status effect for 2 turns.
      • Triple Shadow Dragon's Fire: The Dark version of Spyro's Triple Flameballs used by his dark form, Dark Spyro. Dark Spyro shoots 3 purple fireballs at his enemies, inflicting the Effect ACC DOWN status effect on them for 3 turns.
        • Fiery Frenzy: If Spyro charges up his Triple Flameballs attack, when he shoots it, the central fire ball becomes gigantic.
    • Fire Shield: Spyro generates a circular shield of flame around him when he uses his Flameball attack.
    • Exploding Fireblast: Spyro's central fireball ignites into an explosive force that not only does more damage, but also hits multiple enemies.
    • The Daybringer Flame: Spyro builds up his fire power, generating and then firing a flame so big and bright it is said to bring daylight to the sky.
  • Charge: Spyro runs head down towards his enemies, knocking them over with his horns.
    • Sprint Charge: Spyro charges for a longer distance. In the old version of Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, this attack grants Spyro's allies (If there are any around) the DMG SHARE status effect, which allows them to temporarily share damage dealt to one of them in between them. The effect lasts for 1 turn. In the new version, it removes 1 beneficial status effect from each enemy hit by the attack.
    • Stun Charge: Spyro hits enemies with his Charge attack so hard, that they become temporarily stunned.
    • Comet Dash: Spyro surrounds his horns with a magic aura, imbuing them with extra power and proceeds to charge into his enemies, dealing extra damage that burns all enemies in its path.
    • Ibex's Wrath Charge: Spyro builds up speed and such a destructive force that it causes the very air around him to ignite into the magical form of fiery ibex horns. Spyro uses them to change into his enemies, dealing massive damage and incinerating them at the same time.
      • Ibex's Wrathful Charge: The Dark version of Spyro's Ibex's Wrath Charge used by his dark form, Dark Spyro. Dark Spyro builds up speed and such a destructive force that it causes the very air around him to ignite into the magical form of fiery ibex horns. Spyro uses them to change into his enemies, dealing massive damage and incinerating them at the same time. In the old version of Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, this attack not only removes 1 beneficial status effect from each enemy hit by the attack, but also temporarily grants him the Effect RES Up status effect, which increases his Effect Resistance rate by 30%. The effect lasts for 2 turns. In the new version, this attack has a 45% chance to inflict the ATK DOWN 20% Status Effect, which lowers the opponent's Attack by 20%, when it hits. The effect lasts for 2 turns. This attack is also able to inflict the Knockdown Status Effect.
    • Head Start!: Spyro summons a copy of his head made out of fire at the end of his charge and sends it after his enemies.
  • Spyro's Earth Pound: Spyro performs a devastating dive-bomb head smash while flying, sending a shockwave along the ground that damages enemies all around him. In the old version of Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, when Dark Spyro uses this attack, it not only removes 1 beneficial status effect from each enemy hit by the attack, but also temporarily grants him the Effect RES Up status effect, which increases his Effect Resistance rate by 30% for 2 turns. In the new version, when Dark Spyro uses this attack, and if there's a team member with the Provoke Status Effect (A status effect that attracts attention to the user to receive attacks from opponents, and reduces the damage they take by 10%. The enemy's target reticle automatically stops on the user, and resets itself once the effect runs out), excluding Dark Spyro himself, this attack steals 1 beneficial Status Effect from the enemy he attacks.
  • Spyro's Flight: Spyro takes to the skies!... Well, off the ground at least! (Don't worry, that's just a game mechanic) Spyro can fly over water and move at great speed.
    • Fireslam: Spyro's Wow Pow from Skylanders: Giants. While flying, Spyro shoots a Triple Flameballs attack and performs an Earth Pound that sends a shockwave of purple fire along the ground, dealing extra damage to enemies.
    • Airburn: While in mid-air, Dark Spyro shoots a beam of dark energy downwards, causing a circle of powerful dark electric energy to burn on the ground, damaging any energy caught in it.
  • Horn Blast: Spyro releases a blast of magical energy from his horns.
    • Horn Havoc: Spyro hits an enemy with his Horn Blast attack to charge his horns with energy. While his horns are charged, Spyro will deal extra damage when he uses Dragon's Fire or charges into his enemies.
  • Dragon's Fury: Dark Spyro repeatedly strikes the opponent with his tail, wings, and Lightning Breath.
  • Shadow Spark: Dark Spyro fires a burst of dark energy at the opponent. The burst will leave an electric energy field on the ground that damages enemies caught in it overtime.
  • Energy Conduit: After Dark Spyro uses the Shadow Spark, Airburn, or ShadowBeam, he runs through the energy field left behind by it to energize himself. While energized, Dark Spyro moves faster and his Dragon's Fury attacks will send a wave of Dark energy outwards.
  • ShadowBeam: Dark Spyro fires a beam of dark electric energy at his enemies. The beam will leave a trail of dark electric energy that damages enemies that touch it.
  • Magical Signature: Spyro's passive skill in the old version of Skylanders: Ring of Heroes. If Spyro is attacked while his Defense has been increased, he has a 50% chance to gain the Mystery status effect, which decreases the effect of damage over time debuffs. The effect lasts for 2 turns.
  • Not A Chance!: Spyro's passive skill in the new version of Skylanders: Ring of Heroes. If Spyro has 4 or more Mana when his turn ends, he is granted the Deflect DMG 5% Status Effect, which returns 5% of the damage inflicted to him back to the attacker when he's attacked. The effect lasts for 1 turn.
  • Smooth Scales: Dark Spyro's Leader Skill in the new version of Skylanders: Ring of Heroes. If Dark Spyro's HP is above 90%, his Evasion rate is increased by 10%.
