Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Lexaeus using his Charge ability to boost his Power Level as a form of Stat Amping

Summary[]

Statistics Amplification is the ability to increase the power of a user or target of a user. This term applies to both amplification of general statistics (Lifting Strength, Striking Strength, Speed, Durability etc.) and amplification of the potency of one's abilities or resistances towards abilities. Statistics Amplification is a common ability in RPGs and other magic-related systems, and is sometimes (though not always) paired with some form of Statistics Reduction.

Notable Users[]

  • Sage Yulyana (Bravely Default)
  • Lexaeus (Kingdom Hearts)
  • Saints of Athena (Saint Seiya)
  • Kirei Kotomine (Fate/Stay Night)
  • Byakuren Hijiri (Touhou Project)

Notes[]

  • Unless supported by additional context, Statistics Amplification users should be assumed to only be able to amplify the statistics that they are shown to be able to amplify through their ability. For example, a character who is shown to be able to amplify their magic such that they can hit harder with it should not be assumed to be able to do the same thing with their fists, unless the mechanics of the magic they use or the method of Statistics Amplification suggest otherwise.
  • The full extent of which the statistics can be amplified vary from user-to-user, and on certain occasions the recipient of the amp might influence the degree of which the statistics are amplified.
