Summary[]
Several fictional characters are known for being lucky or can attribute minor victories to pure chance, however, this ability is when characters are so lucky that they can win even when facing near-impossible odds. Compared to Probability Manipulation, this ability is more passive and only focuses on helping the user without any thought on their part.
Possible Uses[]
- Make attacks more likely to miss the user or cause attacks that would normally kill the user to do less damage.
- Make attacks that the user uses more likely to hit their target to the point of hitting them after their opponent has already dodged the attack.
- Allow the user more likely able to hit an enemies weak spot.
- Cause the opponent to be harmed by forces outside of the user's power such as natural disasters like landslides, lightning or even meteors.
- Some characters canonically have Plot Armor.
Limitations[]
- A characters luck may only protect or limit a certain amount of damage (E.g. Some lucky characters would still die if a nuclear-sized blast were to occur next them).
- Characters with Probability Manipulation and Fate Manipulation can nullify this ability.
- The user most likely has no control over the ability and has no idea when it will activate.
- Due to being based on chance, Supernatural Luck cannot make the impossible occur (in most cases). If a character with Supernatural Luck is getting blitzed or stomped with no way of fighting back, there is essentially zero chance of them winning, and thus, luck being on their side will prove useless.
