Summary[]
When King Arthur cast out all firstborn sons from England in order to quell the looming threat of Mordred, Bruce of Waynesmoor was exiled alongside his family. Upon receiving a vision that she would be defeated by the House of Waynesmoor, Morgan Le Fay summoned Bat-beasts to kill Young Bruce's family, but with some intervention from the wizard Merlin, young Bruce managed to escape with his life. In his adulthood, after much training, he became the Dark Knight, donning an enchanted armor to battle Morgan Le Fay's forces and eventually to take revenge on King Arthur for exiling his family.
Powers and Stats[]
Tier: At least 9-C physically, 9-C if not 9-B with his sword
Name: Bruce of Waynesmoor, also known as The Dark Knight (with Mordred and Morgan mockingly referring to him as "Bat-Man")
Origin: Earth-395
Gender: Male
Age: Seems to be in his early twenties
Classification: Human
Powers and Abilities:
- Peak Human Physical Characteristics (See Attack Potency, Speed, Lifting Strength, and Durability)
- Blessed (Is blessed by the gods, and his armor is enchanted and invokes the might of the dragon)
- Near-Unparalleled Sword Mastery (Honed his body to perfection in the ways of warfare - this made his mastery such that Alfred thinks of him as the greatest swordsman in all of England, and in a short time he was able to train Richard Grayson to the point that he handled the blade "like a knight born." Was thought by Merlin to be ready to battle Mordred's forces, which Merlin earlier stated would require that he achieve skill without equal)
- Gliding (Uses his cloak to glide)
- Animal Manipulation (Can command swarms of bats to attack his foes)
- BFR (Can have swarms of bats carry his opponent away)
- Resistance to Extreme Heat (His cloak protected him from a beam of flame)
Attack Potency: At least Athlete Level physically (Has a body "honed to iron perfection in the ways of warfare"), Street Level with his blade (Can decapitate grown men (requiring at least 616 J), and hack soldiers to bits very quickly), possibly up to Wall Level (Stated to invoke dragon's power in a way that Morgan Le Fay implies is equal to her own powers - her powers being sufficient enough to create a huge spout of flames and for her to directly state that the power of the dragon has dominion over bat-beasts powerful enough to slam through the side of a wooden boat)
Speed: Superhuman swing speed with his blade (Should be at least this fast. Consistently lands sword strikes on foes throughout the story)
Lifting Strength: At least Athletic Human, if not Peak Human (His body has been "honed to iron perfection in the ways of warfare," and sword training typically involves cultivating substantial physical power in one's arms)
Striking Strength: At least Athlete Class
Durability: Wall Level (Withstood a blast of flame from a bloodlusted Morgan Le Fay - her power is that of the dragon, which is strongly implied to overpower and control Bat-beasts powerful enough to slam through the side of a wooden boat)
Stamina: At least Athletic, if not Peak Human (His body has been "honed to iron perfection in the ways of warfare," implying very high stamina)
Range: Standard Melee Range physically, Extended Melee Range with his Sword, far higher with control of bats (Ensnared Ra's Al Ghul and carried him far away)
- Sir Thomas' Blade: A sharp, ornate blade that formerly belonged to Bruce's father, Thomas of Waynesmoor.
- Instruments of Power: An armor set as well as a cloak, enchanted and blessed by the gods to invoke the dragon's power.
- Optional Equipment:
- Stormrunner: A dark, horned horse that Bruce rides into combat.
- Can Create/Summon:
- Bats: Bruce can summon swarms of bats to ensnare his foes.
Intelligence: At least Gifted, if not Genius, with tremendous combat prowess (Has filled his mind with "all existing knowledge of his day," as well as acquired such skill that Alfred thought it appropriate to call him the greatest swordsman in all of England)
Standard Tactics: Generally endeavors to kill his foes in a single sword-stroke, albeit in a fair exchange of blows.
Weaknesses: His rage can blind him. Otherwise, most normal human weaknesses.
