The Maker or Highest Power, is a mysterious entity, who is referred as one of the most powerful beings and is the creator of all Madness Combat, on par with The Machine (Who is also called his sibling). The Maker must have control over everything, he is also likely the reason why madness corrupts reality, and was stated to be "A bored God".

His plot manipulation should upscale from Gambler and The Machine, due to The Maker being described as "Highest Power" and "Eldest storyteller", and Gambler being merely his companion while The Machine is his sibling, along with him being able not only resist but also navigate The Machine)
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall (During his dialogues with Protagonist, he referred to him as "To both of you", heavily implying the real life player, which even confused in game Protagonist. He also changed titles of the game into "Created by The Maker" after few imprints, as example of his Plot manipulation)

The Maker is "the will behind the pen", creating The Machine and as a result the entire Madness Combat universe. Stated to be Highest Power by Gambler to be sibling of The Machine, meaning they are should be at least on the same level. The Machine is able to govern the concept of infinite dimensional structures, is stated to transcend the concept of dimensions and is not bounded by any dimensional concept, but rather just lacks a conceptual dimensional form, whilst fictionally transcending and having qualitative superiority. It is an all-governing body that exists within the manifold of what is real, and defines matter, and space, time, purpose, intent, and fate. All things that are, exist as a part of The Machine's limitless sprawl. Everything is part of the Machine, which would include The Other Place, which is infinitely more complex than a normal mind can comprehend)

Despite his eccentric nature, through his dialogues he appeared to be highly intelligent and knowledgeable about fundamental structure of reality and world as whole, he also was shown to be somehow more intelligent than Doc - character with genius IQ)

Weaknesses: There are things he does not knows and can't predict, such as main protagonists' appearance in the abandoned house, which surprised him when he was here. Ready to put himself into risk for his people, even if it is unnecessary.
