Character Stats and Profiles Wiki

In the past, we have encouraged users to create new pages for powers and abilities they thought the wiki lacked. However, as of now, we want new pages to be approved by the staff, meaning that new powers and abilities pages must be suggested. This can be done in our official Discord server in the suggestion channel, or messaged to a staff member. Of course, users can always create blogs about powers and abilities to include in their profiles if they don't want to attempt creating official pages. Linking to other wikis' powers and abilities pages is also permitted.

Time-Manipulation

Summary

Time Manipulation is the ability to alter time. The exact mechanics and the effects of this ability may vary, but the most common examples are time travel, time stop, and speeding up/slowing down time. Certain users are able to control their abilities such that their Time Manipulation only affects certain targets, but it's not unusual for Time Manipulation to apply across all of what a verse considers "time" or subject to it.

Known Users

  • Time Lords and various races (Doctor Who)
  • Clockwork (Danny Phantom)
  • Time Stone users (Marvel)
  • Various speedsters (DC)
  • The Zoni (Ratchet and Clank)
  • Various aliens (Ben 10)
  • Trunks (Dragon Ball)
  • etc...

Notes

1) It's very common for verses to treat space and time as inseparably linked, forming a spacetime continuum and combining Spatial Manipulation with Time Manipulation in some capacity. The exact implications of this link varies depending on the verse, and in some cases space and time may not be considered linked together at all.

2) Although time is commonly referred to as being the fourth dimension, it is important to note that this does not necessarily imply that it is a spatial dimension. More commonly, time is referred to as the "fourth" dimension in the sense that spacetime is comprised of three dimensions of space and one dimension of time, forming a 4-dimensional spacetime continuum. Because of this distinction, it is incorrect to assume that all entities with higher-dimensional existence are inherently immune to Time Manipulation, although it is not uncommon for certain verses to portray them as such and thus grant higher-dimensional entities a form of resistance to Time Manipulation.
