| ~ Ugin |
Summary[]
Ugin is an elder dragon planeswalker who is the twin brother of Nicol Bolas. Ugin is particularly known for his activities on the plane of Takir, where he created storms that produced various species of dragons, and his work with the planeswalkers Sorin Markov and Nahiri, the three of them having temporarily sealed the Eldrazi Titans on the plane of Zendikar. Ugin would later be the mastermind behind the fall of his brother and would become his jailer on the Meditation Plane after Nicol Bolas lost his spark and was drained of his power.
Ugin is a stern and serious character, the protection of the multiverse being his priority.

- Weather Manipulation and Creation (Ugin's presence on Takir generates and sustains storms that produced the five dragon broods, When Ugin was saved by the planeswalker Sarkhan Vol and began to heal, the storms intensified in a manner that was equated to "a sort of immune response", When he is not present on Tarkir, the storms can risk going haywire and becoming much stronger then normal[2] ),

- Mind Manipulation (While fighting Nicol Bolas a second time, he summoned the dragons of Takir with a roar, which fueled Sarkhan Vol, a dragon at the time, with a mental urge to join him[3]),
- Immortality (Type 3 and 8), His life force is encased in all of his creations such as the hedrons, and the Spirit Gem, the former of which allowed his spirit to persist after being killed by Nicol Bolas in addition to being able to communicate with the shamans of Takir and eventually Sarkhan Vol, This also extends to the planes he has spent signifcant time in such as Tarkir and the Meditation Realm[5][7][11]) non-combat applicable) and Regeneration (Low-Godly Upon being first killed by Nicol Bolas in the Meditation Realm, his essence grew a new physical form in an unknown period of time, likely non-combat applicable[7]))

- Immortality (Type 1, 2, and 8) Oldwalkers's were not suspect to dying from natural causes and can endure any damage to their physical forms including beheading and mutilation. Oldwalkers can survive for as long as their mind is not destroyed[12])
Ugin has resistance to the following
- Magic and Chaos Manipulation (As a planeswalker, he can travel through and survive in the Blind Eternities,a place composed of sheer entropic and chaotic potential of which would immediately rip apart a mortal from its raw magical output[9])
- Fire Manipulation (Was unphased by Sarkhan Vol's fire attack against him[2])
- Mind Manipulation (Resistant to Nicol Bolas's Elder Dragon Touch, which destroys the mind)
- Reality Warping,Madness Manipulation, Corruption, Biological Manipulation, and Fusionism (Fought the Eldrazi Titans. Emrakul, one of the Eldrazi titans, was passively capable of corrupting others into a maddened state where they biologically transform into distorted monstrosities on the plane of Innistrad, two of her victims even fusing together.
Attack Potency: Unknown (Hasn't shown any explicit feats of raw power in this form), likely at least Large Star Level via scaling (Comparable to Nicol Bolas, who personally killed the Amonkhet goddess Bontu[13][14], the latter of whom fought and bested Hazoret in combat) | Universal Level+ (His existence to Tarkir is alluded to be intertwined with the plane itself, his death giving an inherent, cosmic sense of concern to Sarkhan Vol and Yosava Dragonclaw, the latter of which is a shaman who is spiritually attuned to the cosmic forces. Before being killed by Nicol Bolas, the latter had to put visible effort into defeating Ugin in their fight, relying on a preempted scheme rather then brute force.[3]Oldwalkers are powerful enough to create their own artificial planes or change a plane's cosmology, Nicol Bolas himself having altered the fundamental magical structure of Amonkhet in his pre-mending form[12])
Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic (Superior to the various clans and dragon broods of Takir, the dragons of dragonlord Kolaghan's brood being capable of breathing natural lightning, Superior to Neowalkers such as Jace Beleren, who is able to react to and deflect lightning) | At least Massive Hypersonic
Lifting Strength: At least Superhuman | At least Superhuman
Striking Strength Unknown, likely at least Large Star | Universal+ (Physically contended with Nicol Bolas
Durability: Unknown, likely at least Large Star Level | At least Universal Level+
Stamina: Superhuman
Range: Varies from Tens of meters via most magic to up to Multiversal+ via Planeswalking | Same as before
Standard Equipment: The Spirit Gem
Intelligence: Genius, He has studied the magical properties of entire planes for extensive periods of time, which he utilized when inventing his transmutation magic.[1] Had taught his secrets to the humanoid clans of Tarkir, which includes various types of magic.[7] Narset, a mortal and former planeswalker who became a master spellcaster and monk by the age of fifteen and can enter meditations that allow her to cross into other planes, considers Ugin wise beyond her comprehension. Managed to keep his survival a secret from Nicol Bolas while he orchestrated his multi-year long plan, involving dozens of planes and individuals, to acquire enough power to achieve power equivalent to his former self and ultimately subjugate the entire multiverse to his whim.[5]
Weaknesses: Emotionally cold and stern
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
Ghostfire: Ugin's signature spell. Ugin releases a torrent of flame that is invisible to all but him, and of which has emits no evident heat except on the opponent he's using it on. The ghostfire spell is one of the spells Ugin had taught the Jeskai Clan, although it was one of the most advanced spells and rarely aqquired in the original timeline.
Transmutation: Shown through the prevalence of morphs on Tarkir, Ugin can turn opponents into amorphous balls of energy or vice versa. This could be used to incapacitate a foe, however the spell has also been used by the mortals of Tarkir. Those who use it can shield their true identity while travelling across the plane and being hidden from dragons.
