Introduction[]
This blog will go over the speeds of various spacecrafts from the Dragon Ball series.
Kami's Spaceship[]
Lowest-end[]
Jupiter is at least 588,000,000 km away from the Earth.
The spaceship is seen exiting Earth at frame 2532, and it reached Jupiter at frame 2637. At 25 fps, this gives us 4.2 seconds.
588,000,000,000 / 4.2 = 140,000,000,000 m/s or 466.989c (Massively FTL)
Low-end[]
We know that [Namek is in a place outside of King Kai's juristiction], in other words, in a different quadrant of the universe. Bare minimum, even if the Earth and Namek were both on the edge of each quadrant ([which is unlikely given maps like these]), the distance between the two planets should be 25,000 LY, based on the Canis Major Dwarf galaxy.
Kami's spaceship reached Namek in [34 days].
25,000 LY = 2.36518e+20 m
34 days = 2,938,000 seconds
2.36518e+20 / 2,938,000 = 80,503,063,000,000 m/s or 268,529c (Massively FTL+)
Mid-end[]
This time, using the distance from the Earth to the Andromeda Galaxy, which is 2.5 million light years.
2,500,000 LY = 2.3651826e+22 m
2.3651826e+22 / 2,938,000 = 8,050,315,200,000,000 m/s or 26,852,961c (Massively FTL+)
High-end[]

In this map from Dragon Ball: Landmark, we can see that, while Earth is on the edge of the North Galaxy closer to the quadrant Namek is in, Namek is actually at the farther edge of its quadrant.
While the Observable Universe is usually used as the default for the size of the universe, it's actually the amount of the universe we can see from Earth, meaning that Earth is in the center of the Observable Universe. This isn't the case in the Dragon Ball world, so we'll have to approximate the size of the observable universe from Earth, then scale the distance from Earth to Namek from there.
Distance from Earth to the edge of the Universe: 92 px = 4.4e+26 meters
Distance from Earth to Namek: 253.7 px = 1.213e+27 meters
1.213e+27 / 2,938,000 = 4.128659e+20 m/s or 1,377,172,403,716c (Massively FTL+)
Highest Possible Result[]
Since the Dragon Ball universe has [multiple statements of being infinite in size], the highest result for the speed of the spaceship is Infinite. Real.
Fastest Spaceship on Earth[]
The fastest spaceship in the world would have taken [4339 years and 3 months to travel to Namek].
4339 years = 1.3683e+11 seconds
3 months = ~92 days = 7.949e+6 seconds
Total: 1.3683e+11 + 7.949e+6 = 136,837,949,000 seconds
136,837,949,000 / 2,938,000 = 46,575.2
So the Earth's fastest spaceship is around 46.5 thousand times slower than Kami's spaceship.
Results[]
Now, we just do a bit of math with our previous results.
Lowest Possible Result: 3,005,891.54 m/s or 0.01c (Sub-Relativistic)
Low-end: 1,728,453,404.38 m/s or 5.765c (FTL)
Mid-end: 172,845,531,527.5 m/s or 576.55c (Massively FTL)
High-end: 8,864,500,850,237,894.845 m/s or 29,568,792c (Massively FTL+)
Highest Possible Result: (Infinite)
Goku's Spaceship[]
Goku's spaceship took [6 days to travel to Namek].
34 / 6 = 5.66
Making Goku's Spaceship 5.66 times faster than Kami's.
