Blog post dedicated to explain all abilities that regular players have in Inazuma Eleven, or at least everyone that have a hissatsu
Standard Abilities[]
Everyone in the verse should possesse:
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics: In the first episodes of Inazuma Eleven, Raimon was considered a weak team. In that same team, in the same epoch, Endou and Raimon players was already physically small building level, as they were capable of stop and harm kicks from Teikoku Gakuen[1], which can display this much of power. Someoka was also able to slightly clear a path of snow[2][Note 1] during this period
- Skilled Soccer Player
- Variable Elemental Manipulation (varies according to the player's element, which can be Fire, Mountain, Forest or Wind Element. See the "Elements" explanation below for further information)
- Accelerated Development and Reactive Evolution: It's heavily explicited they can improve and develop their hissatsus in mid-game, reaching whole another levels of power, without limits, allowing the players to overpower other ones. For example, Tachimukai couldn't stop Hiroto's Ryuusei Blade, even after Touko's The Tower and Kabeyama's The Wall weakened the shot[3]. Moments later, he developed his Mugen the Hand three times in the same match (One time to stop Hiroto's Ryuusei Blade[3], one to stop Genesis' Supernova[4], and the other to stop Space Penguin[4])
- Empowerment: As their love for soccer grows, thier hissatsus and physical stats are able to evolve in mid-game, as seen in Genesis vs Raimon match, where even when Genesis players removed thier limiter and unlocked thier full potential, some moments after Raimon players were able to evolve even more by outspeeding Genesis and Gouenji developed his Bakuretsu Storm and overpowered Nemuro's Jikuu no Kabe[4], which previously could stop this same hissatsu. In Inazuma Eleven GO, Shinsuke's Buttobi Jump was initially weak enough to Sangoku stop it without hissatsu, who hipotetically would need to use Burning Catch to stop Shindou's Fortissimo. During the match against Teikoku, Miyabino could stop Shindou's Fortissimo without using hissatsu, but after some moments, the power of the team grew and Buttobi Jump was able to broke through Miyabino's Power Spike[5]
- Wind Manipulation: Players in Inazuma Eleven can conjure strong gusts of wind just by kicking. Players from Teikoku Gakuen, Kaiou Academy, Tenkuu no Shito and even Raimon are good examples of this.
- Energy Projection: Good part of the Hissatsus are based on energy projection, such as God Hand, Excalibur. Even Akane could record Shinsuke's energy concentrated while performing Buttobi Jump
- Energy Manipulation: Is stated multiple times in the series than hissatsus are based on energy concentration.
- Pseudo-Flight: They are able to propel themself high into the air for his hissatsu techniques and remain there for a while. Players who don't possesses hissatsus envolving Pseudo-Flight (such as Death Zone, Tri-Pheonix and etc) should have this ability
- Self-Sustenance: Players in Inazuma Eleven can survive even when they are in outer space
- Subjective Reality: To create a hissatsu, the player must first imagine it and then bring it to reality
- Power Nullfication: Stronger hissatsus can easily realizes the act of negate other abilities that should be counter of them. A good example for this, is Gouenji's Bakuretsu Storm or Death Zone 2 (performed by Endou, Kidou and Domon) breaking through Nemuro's Jikuu no Kabe, which is stated to being a time stop ability
Resistances to:
- Fire Manipulation: They aren't burned or scorched by hissatsus based on fire
- Limited Ice Manipulation: Everyone in season 3 (or FFI arc) should not be affected by Fubuki's Ice Ground, but could be affected by Snow Angel
- Limited Electricity Manipulation: Most of them aren't completed affected to hissatsus like Zigzag Spark
Elements[]
The elements (Zokusei), also known as Wind, Forest, Fire, and Mountain (Fūrinkazan), are one of the most basic features of the Inazuma Eleven universe. They can be attributed to most characters and hissatsu techniques, affecting interactions against characters of other elements.
Everyone in the verse possesses a diferent type of Elemental Manipulation. This just varies according to the player's. They can possess multiple different abilities. Therefore, just because a player has an especific element, doesn't mean he can develop hissatsus based on other elements, but thier element defines the most probable abilities they can develop. We have four elements, and the abilities they can develop with are:
Fire Element[]
is weak against Mountain and is strong against Forest. The Fire element usually only includes fire, although some techniques with the fire element can be mistaken as a Forest attribute.
- Fire Manipulation
- Possible Light Manipulation (Fire element likely holds other elements, such as light. A good proof of this is Photon Flash and Shine Drive beinging fire elements hissatsus)
Mountain Element[]
is weak against Wind and is strong against Fire. The Mountain element includes other elements such as light.
Forest Element[]
is weak against Fire and is strong against Wind. The Forest element includes other elements such as music, energy, space, and darkness. Suprisly most of the abilities based on this element are not based on Plant Manipulation, but in abilities like:
- Plant Manipulation (Via Rose Splash)
- Music Manipulation (Via Fortissimo)
- Spatial Manipulation (Via Universe Blast)
- Darkness Manipulation (Via Dark Pheonix)
Wind Element[]
is weak against Forest and is strong against Mountain. The Wind element includes other elements such as water, ice, and lightning

- Ice Manipulation (Via Ice Ground)
- Lightning Manipulation (Via Inazuma Break and The Tower)
