So, in the original BoBoiBoy series, one of BoBoiBoy's oldest friends and longtime rivals, Fang, is able to summon shadow animals to attack his opponents. The most powerful of these creatures is the Shadow Dragon, which appears from a mass of thunderclouds when it's summoned. Today, I'll use these thunderclouds to calculate the dragon's power from when Fang summoned it here.

The Calc[]

Fang is was 11 years old at the time of the original series. The average height of an 11 year old boy is 143.5 centimeters, or 1.435 meters.

Fang is 225 pixels tall and the Shadow Ball (Suddenly Pokémon) is 745 pixels wide.

1.435/225 = 0.00637777777.

0.00637777777 x 745 = 4.75144444444 meters.

Judging by this shot (play in slow motion), the Shadow Beam that connects with the clouds becomes as wide as the ball itself.

Pixels Shadow

The Beam is 26 pixels wide and the mass of clouds is 1,664 pixels wide.

4.75144444444/26 = 0.18274786324.

0.18274786324 x 1,664 = 304.092444444 meters for the diameter of the clouds.

Dividing that by 2 gives us 152.046222222 meters for the radius of the storm.

Since these are thunderclouds, they're most likely Cumulonimbus Clouds, which are 8,000 - 11,800 meters tall. I'll use 8,000 for a Low End and 11,800 for a High End.

Low End[]

Plugging in the values here gives us 581,020,061.1522 meters^3 for the volume.

Clouds have a density of 1.003 kilograms/meter^3.

581020061.1522 x 1.003 = 582,763,121.336 kilograms.

Watching the video frame by frame here, the clouds spin in between 15:20.13 seconds and 15:23.35 seconds.

15:23.35 - 15:20.13 = 3.22 seconds.

The clouds spun approximately 1/4 of it's circumference in this timeframe.

Plugging in the radius here gives us 955.33458947743 meters for the circumference.

Dividing that by 4 gives us 238.833647369 meters.

Now we can find the Velocity.

V = Distance/Time.

238.833647369/3.22 = 74.1719401768 meters/second.

And finally, the Kinetic Energy.

KE = (Mass/2) x Velocity^2.

(582,763,121.336/2) x 74.1719401768^2 = 1603028869619.2205 Joules, or 383.13309503327451466 Tons Of TNT, or Multi-City Block Level.

Huh, that's lower than I expected. High End anyone?

High End[]

High End values here gives us 857,004,590.19949 m^3.

857,004,590.19949 x 1.003 = 859,575,603.97 kg.

KE = (M/2) x V^2.

(859,575,603.97/2) x 74.1719401768^2 = 565.1213151736853888 Tons Of TNT, or Multi-City Block Level.

Huh. I honestly thought that this feat would be more powerful.

The Results[]

Low End: 383.13309503327451466 Tons Of TNT, or Multi-City Block Level.

High End: 565.1213151736853888 Tons Of TNT, or Multi-City Block Level.
