Attack Potency: Wall level (Smashed through ballistic glass in six strikes using a fire extinguisher) | Building level (Comparable to, and more skilled than, Carnage, but was ultimately overpowered. Easily broke a pillar and accidentally broke a tree in half by crashing into it. Could destroy part of a rocket booster. Knocked open strong doors with ease). Can ignore durability in some ways
Speed: Athletic Human ((Managed to tag Ronald Treece while being held at gunpoint) | Massively Hypersonic+ (Capable of reacting to Xenophage who can jump so fast, can swims so fast, caught a bullet with his teeth at point blank range, easily dodged bullets and small weapon attacks. Can fight Carnage who is so fast and even dodges his spikes)
Lifting Strength: Athletic Human | At least Class K (Tears off a piece of a structure to throw it at a SWAT team, somewhat comparable to Carnage, able to briefly grapple with him)
Striking Strength: Wall level | Building level
Durability: Wall level | Building level (Took attacks from Riot, who make a hole by just falling down with a jump, and Carnage, who easily broke through a steel wall). Regeneration makes him difficult to kill (Healed from a large explosion)
Stamina: Superhuman
Range: Standard Melee Range | Extended Melee Range; Tens of Meters with elasticity and spike projectiles
Standard Equipment: None notable.
- Optional Equipment: Motorcycles
Above Average (Eddie Brock has been shown to be a fairly popular reporter, stemming from his methods for successfully attaining valuable information on stories. When employed, Brock's former boss claimed there was not a better investigative reporter working at the time. Learned how to effectively follow people and remain out of their sight, pointing out when a scientist attempting to do the same with him was ineffective)
Extraordinary Genius (Possesses "80 billion lightyears of hive knowledge across universes", which he purposefully holds back from sharing as to not overwhelm Eddie's mind. Instantly deduced the exact location where Cletus Kasady hid the bodies of his victims, using only the drawings drawn on Kasady's walls for reference)
Gifted (When fighting as a duo, Eddie and Venom display noticeably effective performance in battle. Although Riot was considered greater than Venom, he complimented the strength that the latter's host had granted him. Easily took down a SWAT team, utilizing their smoke grenades against them to pick off their forces without being spotted, using the environmental surroundings to an advantage, and or using their own bodies as striking weapons. The compatibility and skill have allowed the pair to effectively challenge Carnage, despite the fact it was a stronger symbiote that Venom expressed great reluctance to fight. When Carnage had grown in size to where directly fighting him was not an option, the duo managed to provoke Shriek, exploiting a weakness that ultimately sealed their victory over the newborn symbiote. For defensive measures, Venom exhibits great agility in response to attacks covering larger areas and forming shields to block oncoming projectiles or heavy physical strikes)
Weaknesses:
- High energy levels: The symbiote can be weakened and forcibly removed from its host if exposed to powerful sound vibrations, radiation up to 4,000 hertz, high levels of heat, or by anything that can pass through the symbiote in large amounts of energy.
- Starvation: The symbiote needs to eat living creatures to a much greater extent than the average man to survive. If it does not eat, it will begin to slowly eat its host from the inside, killing the host in time.
- Lack of Synchrony: Venom and Eddie tends to disagree a lot, even in the eminence of a battle.
